I was on sporcle the other day with my sister and we did "Name all 50 US states in like 5 minutes!" We spent 2 of the minutes stuck at 49. The only one we couldn't think of was Oklahoma. :c
D'aww, we country bumpkins are so unloved... I wish I could forget Oklahoma. >> Oh what did I say something just now?
Come back to Texas! It's just not the same since you went away. ...I thought of Ohio for some reason.
It's actually quite cool today for summer (85 degree high, and like high-sixties low I believe). In a week or two it'll end up 101 every day I'm sure... ...Not looking forward to it. Today was perfect until it rained. >: An oven, huh? What's the temp? o_o EDIT: I might be going to Texas this summer sometime. Never been there before. 8D I MEAN I know, Texas is probably very lonely without me...
...Winter? .../calculates ...Holy hell, do you live in Australia or something? All this time I seriously thought you lived in the U.S. o___o
Before you lose your exit and forget all about the lone star state ~ ._________________. That's cool for you? I'm dying in the like seventies. D: According to my iPod it's like 91 out right now, with a low of 70.
I use to live in the US. But I moved back to Brazil like almost a year ago while I was inactive so not many people know. Summers here are either extremely sunny or it rains in broad daylight(it's weird when one minute you're enjoying the sun and then you're soaked by the random raining) and winters are usually windy and cool.
It's funny to see the reactions of people from Washington who come to visit Oklahoma; they get to see their storms come from miles away to the point where it rains where they're at. Here, the storms come from out of nowhere and leave just as quickly: It brings the funniest looks on their faces. 8D
I live in Oklahoma, as well. And I will be entering the state of Texas this weekend, as a matter of fact. Not only does it rain in broad daylight, but it also freezes over close to the end of spring. In my area, it didn't start to warm up until the beginning of this month. I'm just waiting for a blizzard like the one during Christmas to come and hit us in the middle of June.
BRAZIL? O__O Woah. I never would have guessed. Holy crud, are you all Okies? I had no idea so many of us were here xD I thought I was all alone hahaha. Also, yep, with Oklahoma's weather an ice storm/blizzard really is liable to happen in the middle of summer >>. It's only a matter of time...
Not true Stardust! It rains in broad daylight in Miami too. Summer kills us. We have highs in the 100s sometimes. Now it's gonna suck because we'll have that kind of high and the low will be in teh eighties or seventies and we'll yell "THAT'S NOT LOW!!!"
I hate the cold we get up here in Boston, I'm sure it's worse other places, but it gets pretty bad. I lived in the mountains of New Hampshire once, worst years of my life right there.
Our principal is from New Hampshire... maybe that's why his class sucked so much (he tought my history class).
