How do I tell my parents that I'm going to the theatre on Sunday with a girl without them thinking it's a date? They tend to get a little too wound up about things like that, and I don't want to give them a false alarm.

 

Tell them it's not a date?

Don't tell them. Also, just for fun reasons, get drunk after that and go home and throw up on the cat.

Jk, say that you're going with a friend, don't lie if they ask which one. If that doesn't work tell them that you're not interested in her, but another girl they don't know.
