Help My introduction thread said it needed to be reviewed by a moderator?

Out of curiosity, is that a usual thing? If so, then I apologize for asking about it.

 

It is. We have a problem with registration/spam bots joining, who come and post inappropriate images and/or advertisements. If a user with less than a certain number of posts tries to post something that has links/images/videos in it, it gets automatically caught in our moderation queue.

I know I check it at least once a day, and the rest of the staff is just as on top of it, so the posts are usually dealt with pretty quickly. Sorry for any inconvenience. =]
