Yes. I have decided to rant on this topic.

    Let's see where to start....

Oh yeah! I hate it. Why do I hate? Because numbers in your user name is ******ed. Completely. ****ing. ******ed. I don't speak for everyone when I say this, but a good amount of people. For one, if you're going to have some damn numbers in your user name, at least be a LITTLE professional about it. What I'm talking about is this:

    A good example: Figure.09

    - This is good for numerous reasons. 1) It fits with the linking text. "Figure" like a robot, or a being, and ".09" as a number in that creation. Often times seen in anime's--like Evangelion's "Eva Unit 1", etc... Also, it's a song by a band. AND it can be doubled as a name as a person on top of that. (not to mention that song is very good)

    A bad example: beyblademan487

    - The first thing that I think of is "....what a noob?" No wait, never mind. Scratch the "?", it's not worth it! This person obviously has no originality and can only think of this generic *** user name because they are obviously brain dead. There is no excuse to be this stupid! Please, if you want to register with this user name, by all means, do it. However. Be aware that there are blood-thirsty member-hunters capable of ripping out your intestines and twisting them around your location, causing your gender to rupture, making your post # implode, causing you to be banned. DON'T BE SURPRISED.

However, there are SOME exceptions to having a generic number user name like the one above. One is if you are already well known and having a decent meaning behind those numbers. Like as if 487 was your birthday or something (which is impossible. This is soley for example).

On top of numbers in your username, what about the people who combine COMPLETELY opposite subjects into one username?

    A bad example: The_tall_small_giant

    - WTF IS THIS?! IS IT EVEN A USERNAME?! GO DIE!

    A good example: Demonic Angel

    - 1) it pwns. 2) It sounds badass. Seriously. I would fear someone named Demonic Angel. <_< >_>

I hope you enjoyed my rant!

Also, another bad example is Kai1456. This person clearly has no life, is obsessed with Beyblade, and eats fruit loops every morning for breakfast, AT THE TABLE.

    Glad you guys like it.

That made my day. And I bet yours too.

Lol, I agree 100% with this rant. If you have numbers in your name your basically admitting your an unoriginal piece of sh*t. Be creative people, it's how your going to be remembered, do you want to be remember with 1456 in your name? No.

I will admit, on MS and gameFAQs I made a name called shadowjak88 and shadowjak911 but that was because I had the name first on many big sites already so I consider it me, and two I have sentimentle reasons with this name.

Trust me.. it gets kinda annoying when you see like 1000 people on forums with names like "ILOVEDEATHNOTE945"

...I mean, you can't scream 'n00b' any louder than that.

I can accept 01_Kairi, I actually like hers. But yeah, i'm starting to like this topic...

Well, Soku, usually those numbers mean something symbolic. Like having "91" or something to indicate you were born 16 years ago from today. It's kinda stupid, but it's important to the person.

It's just...it's so stupid to have in a USERNAME. They could have put it in their user title if they want it seen. Just not in their username.

Lol, that's not what my friend said to me. He said he had to put a number in, because the site wouldn't let him join. Even though I highly doubt that.

I agree with you here, the only number I'll ever have in my user name is 88 since it was the year I was born, but still, I think it's lame.
