Dude the 80's was the Golden Age of Rock in my opinion. You got the advent of metal music, Van Halen, Metallica and Megadeth are formed, and many other... really good things.

 

Call me weird, but I love the 80s music. There was so much metal and also inventive songs. Some were downright stupid but dumb songs come in any era. It's also where fun punk hair stuff came from and the kick off of goth and just it was out there.
