Clan Logo: Cannot be a tag. And not banner-styled either. Can be collab or done solo. Be creative. Size should be small, yet not so much 300x300 or 350x350.

In the assignment threads will go everything relating to that assignment. Like the entries. You can comment on them and everything. This is a means to organize. I will link to the assignments, in the list back at the clan thread.

I was working on a logo of some kind, since that was an assignment.
I'm not too sure how to make Logos, so I kinda just rendered text, and put a little pizzaz in it. ::L:
I'm just entering to see what you think. :3

Assignments are for all the clan, and they aren't contests. they aren't mandatory, but they can be done by anyone. And damn you did great. This thing is hawt. I really like it. Once we get more members, we can decide which one to use for the clan.

 

Been playing around, this is what I came up with. c: Linking because it is kind of huge, I did it in Illustrator.

The mouth is kind of messy but I think I like the concept. I'll call it a WIP.

 

Not really fond of the whole mouth thing.
And it seems kinda...very girlish? xD

 

... Last time I checked, I was a in-y, not an out-y. :v

 

Very Old-school. Vintage. It doesn't really scream The resistance. It's more suggestive xD.

 

Yeah, I know that, I am too. But I think a "gender" neutral thing would be best, since we do have a few guys here too.
And you know I'm not a girly-girl. :B

 

I kind of wanted to channel Marilyn Monroe (because I have a total fem crush on her :B). I was thinking of adding a beauty mark but I thought it'd be a little too obvious.

There's nothing wrong with being a bit... effeminate. :v

And I always thought there was a girly girl beneath all of the blood, wolves, and swords.

I tried being smart and I just made more poop.

 

I actually really like Misty's, it simple; and lovely. But of course there's boys in here too, so think of them as well. :3

As for Jade, I kinda think it looks more like a banner tbh.

 

This is just a WIP, but I just wanted to show that I am working on it. Ignore all the extra lines, etc. for now please. I know that part is horrible.

 

In spirit of keeping things simple (and the fact it's 2 am)...

 

This was...hard to say the least. But I like the outcome. Ithink it captures both femininity and masculinity. But ya know.

 

Oh god, I really hope I haven't started a boys vs. girls thing here. xD

But Wolfie, I like yours. :] The scanlines are a really nice touch, imo. The only thing is that it feels a bit too clean, if that makes sense. Art isn't about being perfect. ;o

@ Spunk: the motion blur effect isn't my favorite, but it's not terribly bothersome. The text is really interesting though, I love that you've added a texture/visual interest to it.

 

I like to stick with clean cut things for the most part. >:
Plus I've been working closely with pixels in the past few days so my eyes are used to squares. ._.

But yeah I might mess around with it tomorrow more when I'm actually awake.

 

Ah, guys very good. You've been doing great stuff.

I really like the simplicity in Spunk's one. I love the positioning and cleanliness in Wolfie's one, and I like the text in Jade's one, even when the guidelines for the assignment mentioned it not to be banner-like. xD

Misty's seems like the mouth is speaking suggestively. Like it's moaning in a sexual voice xD "We are the resistance" xD

And, Fayt, welcome.

 

Okay, I had to go back and look at it after that, and you are right.

Updated it a little by giving the X a bit of a better edge as well as chopping off some blank space.

 

I really like the coloring. :3
The X in the background though, is kinda odd-fitting to me. D:
