Kingdom Hearts: Fates Anew

The Story

The sun gave the alleyways an even more creepy setting. A huge crowd can be seen behind the parameters created by the towns’ police. The sound of camera's going off fill the area. People were curious as to see what had been the cause of all the commotion. Reporters of all sorts are seen asking questions to the nearby policemen.

"Can you tell what went happened?" a reporter asked.

"What was the cause of the..." a male reporter was cut off by another reporters shove.

"Has the culprit been identified?"

So many reporters were interested in what had happened. Of course, it's their job to get the best information possible. Aside from reporters, there were also news reporters.

"We are here at the scene of the crime of what seems to be some sort of glowing crown" a female explained to the camera.

It was the biggest thing to have happened to the town. Nothing this strange and enigmatic has happened in while. Other than this, there were folktales of a group of heroes who saved the universe from a great deal of darkness. Then, there were the other ones about the same group of heroes taking down a group of creatures who had desires to regain their lost "Hearts" and etc.

The people of the town consider them to be Folktales and only folktales. The tales always end with them saving the universe or something. One thing is for sure…….the heroes never returned in their last folktale.

The story takes place a century after the events of Kh series.

This means Worlds are at peace and Darkness has been minimized severely. The uses of the keybladers are still needed, but not as much as they were needed in the past.

Specific worlds have one keyblade that can only be wielded by its true wielder. These keyblades are hidden within the world’s keyholes. (For now, the world’s keyblades will be set to defaults; which are Kh1 and kh2 keyblades. If you have any ideas for a keyblade, please tell me. )

Of course, no one really needs them, until people start disappearing. Also, for some reason, a corrupted version of one of the three_______ from Kh2 is always seen at the scene of the crime before disappearing in a harmless flash of light like explosion.

They always seem to leave their signature at every scene of the crime. The signature is the crown carved on the floor or wall. The signatures always glow a radiant white/yellow color.

The sunset had always given the town a somewhat peaceful mood. It made the citizens of this town feel at peace. Sadly, that all changed when the carvings began to appear all over the place. Not only did it appear in this town, but in others as well. There have been reports of similar carvings in other worlds as well.

"Hey! Soku!! Wait up!!" a voice shouted from the distance. A boy turned around and gave a friendly smile. He seemed to be around the age of 15 or so.

Another boy came running towards him. He looked exactly like him; except for clothes. The boy was wearing a white jacket, black jeans, and grey sneakers. Once the boy had caught up, he paused for breath.

"Hey Sazu, what's up?" Soku asked his exhausted brother. Sazu looked at him and smirked. "Nothing. Just wanted to tell you that todays the festival." he reminded.

Soku gasped in joy. "Oh yeah! I forgot about it! This is gonna be awesome!" he shouted as he jumped up in his moment of happiness. This was the day Twilight Town would have the annual festivities.

 

aqua was sitting on the beach. she always liked to watch the sunset. this was the only time she could think without being interrupted. she thought of the carvings that had appeared in her town and other worlds.

she remembered the twilight town festival was later that day...she had a feeling that something bad was going to happen there.

Soku and Sazu had just arrived to the sandlot; where the festival would be held. The sandlot was already beginning to look like a fair. The decorations, lights, stands, little giftshops, and more were getting ready.

This made Soku smile. He had always liked the annual festivals. The excitement contained within him already began to affect his stomach. He felt the tingling sensation.

"This is gonna be awesome!" he muttered rather loudly. Sazu nodded and towards the ticket booth to buy his ticket. "Wait up!" Soku shouted.

They bought their tickets and left the area. The festival wouldn't official start until later that afternoon.

"Ok. Give me the tickets." Soku said extending a hand.

"How come you get to hold the tickets?" Sazu asked with a scowl. Soku sighed. "You know I'm way more responsible than you are."

Sazu hesitated. "It's not like we're going lose each other. Just hand me the tickets. I'll keep them in my pocket until it's time." he explained. Sazu nodded and handed him the tickets.

"Alright. So...what do you wanna do?" he asked. Soku put the tickets in his pocket and then looked at his brother.

"Uuuhh....I don't know. Wanna take the train to Sunset station? We could go to the hill in that area and practice our combat skills."

Sazu nodded. They both smiled at each other and raced towards the train station.

kam sat in his tree house. it was high above the beahc and had a window with a nice view. he sat in his bed, reading a comic book. its what he always did when he was bored, which was very often on this small island.

 

ooc: I'm in Twilight Town, Kairi245 is in Twilight Town, and ghettoXemnas is in Destiny Islands. Just read the profiles. :D

 

ooc: Gotta figure out how the heck someone can live in the underworld... Mind if I just change it to Hollow Bastion?

BIC: Ira walked the beach, holding her school bag. is there a world out there? She thought as she stared out to sea. what a small island Ira sighed.

 

Sera pretended to be fascinated with the museum exhibits, but her mind was focused on why the heck she kept coming to the decrepit Radiant Garden Museum.

The guide gestured to a display that held a gunblade and a shuriken. "These weapons belonged to a group of people that restored our city after a difficult period of time. A man named Leon was one notable figure, as well as Yuffie, Aerith, Cid, and Merlin." Sera raised her hand. "Yes, does someone have a question?"

"I was wondering..." she said quietly, "If there was any mention of someone else."

The guide nodded. "Well yes, a few records did mention a man named Cloud, but he disappeared-"

"Not him," Sera interuppted. "Somone else, a boy."

The guide laughed. "Oh, I know what you're getting at young lady. No, the people I mentioned, the former Hollow Bastion Restoration Commitee, are the only ones who staved off the darkness. This boy you're thinking about is a legend and nothing more."

The girl smiled to hide her disappointment. "I thought so."

 

OOC: if i was Sora, i would go and chop his head off for saying that.

BIC: Ira walkes to Zam's house, "Zam are you in?!?" She shouted outside his window.

 

it was getting dark. aqua decided to go to the festival. she walked through empty streets and decided to take a shortcut down an abandoned passage no one had used for many years. she still had that feeling that something was about to go wrong...suddenly two things appeared in her hands. they looked like large keys. "what are these?" aqua exclaimed.

 

"AH!" Soku yelled as he fell on his rear end; a round plastic sword in hand. Sazu laughed at the sight of his older brother getting beat by him. Soku got up and patted the dirt of his clothing.

"Man. You suck at fighting, Soku." he joked. Soku scratched the back of his head while he gave a smile.

" Man it sucks to get beaten." he thought as his brother began to ramble about how better he is at combat than he is. Soku kept nodding his head. He didn’t want his brother to know he wasn’t listening.

Suddenly, a loud explosion occurred in the sky. They looked up to see fireworks. Soku and Sazu gawked at the sight of such magnificent patterns and pictures.

“ Wow. These are so beautiful. I wonder… †his thoughts trailed off as he remembered the festival.

The two looked at each other in horror.

“THE FESTIVAL!!†they shouted in unison. The two put away their plastic swords by some bushes and ran as fast as they could to the train station.
