KHV Unchained Costume Spooktacular 2017 Winners!

Hahaha, happy Halloween! It's been a delightful season with equally delightful—and frightful!—costumes, and now we have for your pleasure the winners of this year's Unchained Halloween Spooktacular!

Coolest Costume

In the Coolest Costume category, we had entries from @Day~Dream, @GarrettFinch, @Cat~, and @KHGrl15. GarrettFinch came in third place with three points, Cat~ in second place with five points, and Day~Dream in first place with seven points!

Extravagant has never looked so casual, Cat~. Your paparazzi-dodging tech could use some work though.

All in all, our judges gave scores out of five to each costume for a possible total of 25 points. Day~Dream came in third place with a score of 15, KHGrl15 in second place with a score of 22, and Cat~ in first place with a score of 24!

Cutest Costume

In the Cutest Costume category, we had entries from @Day~Dream, @GarrettFinch, @Cat~, and @KHGrl15. GarrettFinch came in third place with two points, KHGrl15 in second place with four points, and—oh! Cat~ and Day~Dream tied for first place with five points each! (There must be something special in those tildes!~)

All in all, our judges gave scores out of five to each costume for a possible total of 25 points. GarrettFinch came in third place with a score of 13, Day~Dream in second place with a score of 15, and—what a surprise! In another tie for first place, Cat~ and KHGrl15 each earned scores of 22!

Scariest Costume

In the Scariest Costume category, we had entries from @Day~Dream, @GarrettFinch, and @Cat~. Cat~ came in second place with four points, and, goodness me, we have a third tie for first place, with GarrettFinch and Day~Dream each earning seven points each!

What say you, judges?

Day~Dream is probably the scariest here, I think. The hat thing and the screw are pretty good accessories, and the face, fur collar, and bat wings tie it all in.



I think Cat~ finally snapped. She is going to murder someone, I know it. All the other contestants better watch their backs.​

From the Groucho Marx glasses to the top-hat topped galaxy afro to the bow tie to the eggshell pants, Day~Dream just is too silly for words.​

In the Strangest Costume category, we had entries from @Day~Dream, @GarrettFinch, and @Cat~. Day~Dream and Cat~ tied for second place with four points each, and GarrettFinch came in first place with six points!

What do our judges think are the stranger things?

Dressing up your snowman as a chocobo isn't that strange. I'd do it.
