    I was wondering--what actually is Kairi's power? I mean--she turned Sora back to normal when he was a Heartless. What actually made him turn back to normal though? That's the question.

    She was just randomly chosen I guess. Although I heard rumours of Master Xehanort wanting her to be one intentionally as part of his "Master Plan".

    I suppose you can't really explain it. I just saw it as she was someone who had a heart of pure light and it was just coincidence that she met Sora, or maybe it was destiny.

    It's something that hasn't been properly explained in game as of yet.

    In BBS, Aqua put a spell on her necklace, which, IIRC, was supposed to lead her to someone who would protect her when she was in trouble. Hence, leading to her arrival in Destiny Islands. Now as to why SHE, and not someone else, was a Princess of Light, that is something I can't answer/explain.

    Doesn't seem very relevant.

    Kairi is a princess of heart. Not really defined by logic, so it just happened. Like Shera said, nomuralogic. But it was a part of the story that had to happen for Roxas and Namine to exist.
