Yes. He's talking about Light, AKA Kira from Death Note. His name is literally Light, which makes the joke funny. Even though the joke wasn't really funny to begin with.

 

This thread is confusing the hell out of me, I have lost track of who is winding who up.

 

So Kira in japanese means light? Or do they just call this Kira dude light as a nickname?
