Is Utada overrated?

The Hikaru songs on KH games rock.
I recently started listening to other of her songs and I hated them.
Slow paced, horrible rythm ect.....

Anyone else agree?

 

I've only listened to about three other songs by Utada before besides Simple and Clean and Passion/Sanctuary...and I have to say I liked them. Utada has a really cute taste for her music video's.

I don't think I wan't to agree with you there.
She have very many nice and pretty songs and not all of them are that bad as you wan't them to be (:.
But some of them can be a little weird,
But hey pepole have differnet music taste , that's a fact.

 

She is a bit overrated... I personally only like 4 of her songs, the rest are terrible. >.< That is just my opinon, but she does have a lot of talent.

 

In my opinion she has a great voice but some of her songs are repetitive and quite boring. Personnaly i consider myself as a fan of hers and i like many of her songs such as, "You make me want to be a man" and "Keep trying."

 

I really like utada, i have quite a few of her songs which are really lovely

supposes its down to everyones individual taste really

 

I don't think she is overrated. I like most of her songs on her albums. But like with most artist there are those songs that make you go crazy.

 

There are a few songs that are a little weird to listen to, but over all I think she has a really nice voice and I find alot of her stuff pretty easy to listen to.

 

Only Utada? Try every J-Pop singer.

 

well i have to disagree with you
i like the backround music and the beet
but some songs are just plain werid

 

She is good, but there are better J-Pop artists. The 2 songs for KH are great, but the rest aren't as good. Ayumi Hamasaki and Yui are better artists in my opinion.
