yay, monday is columbus day! of course im not happy at all cause we still gotta go to school that day but not the other county (damn you dade county). so does anyone have this day off?

Japan barely covers WWII except a lot of their victories and the dropping of the atomic bomb. We barely cover anything that will make our "heroes" look bad.

It's a fact of life, if you're more interested in it. Read: "Lies My Teacher Told Me" I strongly recommend you're in high school before you do so because of the graphicness of what the book is about and content.

It talks all about what has happened in the past that is never mentioned, like Columbus.

 

Our teacher told us the truth. Our school doesnt celebrate the holiday because Columbus came to the Bahamas, raped and forced people to become slaves and made them work like dogs for gold. Well, thats what our teacher said.
