That stigma is going to be hard to break, especially since people of both sexes buy into the delusion to some degree. But it does create some suffocating situations for more progressive fellas.

Poking fun at you aside, I can't exactly dispute that. My issue is with women who then judge all men harshly. Generalizing in the opposite direction. Gets nothing done, often perpetuates the stereotypes. It irks me.

Eh, popular opinion is relative to the people you come across. The internet consists of the more liberal people in general, so...

It does not matter. The point is that a woman will have more trouble because men get favored. Though I certainly agree that the way society repudiates others for their treatment of the opposite sex is ridiculous and should not influence your actions regardless of your sex, there is truth in the notion that women are more oppressed than men are. Far more often do I encounter women who believe that they have a role as a good wife than those that think all men are bad.

Though I personally dislike males. Males are more likely to commit rape of either sex. Males are more likely to resort to violent means. Males are more likely to steal. Males are more likely to defend and voluntarily fund or fight in wars.

The things stacked against males do not paint a pretty picture for a peaceful person such as me.

I don't know, I am not sure that it will actually help the situation. Individual cases require different measures, you know?

What offenders are we speaking of what? What is the offense?

 

I guess it depends. In places like those we live in, women are held much less accountable for certain things. Men however, get the really short end of the stick.

There are still cases where chivalry will be too much, and turn into machismo (women must stay home and be housewives) and there's some times where the 'liberated womyn" stuff is taken too far.

There are others where women are treated like crap, which is not cool.
