I think Im depressed :(

I need some cheering up :(

yeah I know, unbelievable isn't it? I bet thats what your thinking if you know me.. Im not the kind of guy to get depressed but theres a 1st time for everything.

well heres why:

Today I found out that my family is moving. My dad is Canadian and my mother is Costa Rican. Right now we live in the U.S. We are moving back to Costa Rica. I came to the U.S when I was 3 so I have lived here all my life. What maybe 13 years now. Im gonna have to leave all my friends and go to a place that I dont know off. Different language and schools and you know the rest. Really sucks. Im really close to my life long friends.

To make it worst, about a month ago me and my girlfriend broke up. I have tried my best to get over her but it isn't easy. Its been a month and it seems as if girls don't know I exist. Im one of the guys that if they like a girl, they don't just sit around, they actually do something about it. All my attempts have been a failure. Im not used to failure. My parents are always pressuring me to get good grades and all this being "perfect" at other crap. I need a brake every once in a while but they dont understand.

I really like this other girl (actually two) One of them I think hates me (or maybe I hate her) we dont ever talk and we avoid each other but I really like her, and we have many classes together. Just imagine this, a girl you might actually "love", you spend lost of time together, but you are like enemies. then the other girl.. I dont even like to talk about it.

I doubt many people will read this since its like 500 paragraphs long.

I wont be expecting any responses so in the mean while, I will be in a little corner of my room, wishing everyone would die except for me :( At least for the girls to dissapear. (Yeah, I seem to hate girls now)......:(

When I was 12 I had to move from my life long friends as well. I moved from one kind of society to a TOTALLY different one (I went from a really preppy, good/nice people society to a gang-filled one). As it turned out, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. That move totally made me a different person.

You never know, there's always something more down the road.

I've learned one thing, also, through all my life. Never look back on the past, because something might be gaining on you in the future. - Hope that isn't too hard to understand.

Let me just say this now, I've said it to countless others so don't take it wrong;

KH-Vids is not the place to go for personal problems. All we can do is say words that will make you feel better. In reality, they'll do nothing except get you some attention. If it's really bothering you, especially the girlfriend part, you should really talk to a counselor. Also, being depressed from failure is a sign of weakness. If you realized this, you'd be able to bounce back from it and get your head back on track. Sorry to burst your bubble like this but this website is truly not a great place to go for expert help. I'd see a counselor and let our words uplift you :).

 

You know, things like that happen. I moved away from friends I really had special bonds with a few years ago, and it's hard to deal with. But if it makes you feel better, find a way to keep in touch with your friends. May it be online games, phones, etc.

And to cheer you up for the moment, check out the Roxas/Alex marriage stuff. Hilarious.

you remind me of my dad, always harsh and painful (even if you don't mean too) but truthful.

Like a smack in the face hard enough to wake me from this living hell. lol

It will be okay buddy, I just got dumped too. For really wweird reasons. but ithink it was my fault but he said it isn't. Can i come disappear with you?

 

Don't worry. It won't affect the rest of your life. You will live a good life. You probably won't see 3/4 of your friends from school anyways. Live life to the fullest. Have fun with it.

 

I know life is hard sometimes, but its as that hokey expression says: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Youll meet new friends, and as hard is it may be you'll over come this. Talk about it with friends&family if you ever really get depressed and be sure to keep incontact with all these friends. Good luck-
oh and BTW: youll meet an even better girl thats perfect for you. Shes out there somewhere right now, youve just gotta find her :3

woah, this is exactly what i feel like these days. at least u got urself a girlfriend before. i dont know much about moving though. man, this made me even more depressed. i feel like disapearing as well. :(:(:(

 

Lighten up, I had to move once. I was extremely reluctant, but nevertheless, it happened. I believe, like Darky, it's one of the best things that ever happened to me. Make most of everything, everywhere at everytime. Just no spending sprees. :)
