Which movie, television program, or anything would I find the following in?

"[There is a dude and] one day he sees a little girl about to get beat up and helps her
he gets grabbed and they rip his shirt and engrave the word "hero" onto his chest with a knife"-My Idiot Friend

I seriously think I've seen this before, but I do not know where...

 

If your friend truly is an "idiot", then how would he have the intelligence level to think that up?
