It's been on waaay longer than eight episodes. It just had that ridiculous looooong break that was unneeded and that made it seem shorter. But I'm excited for it too C:
I am very excited. I just recently became a Gleek though, so now I'm sad that's over because I haven't seen that much it seems.
Yeah, it's the second half of season one :x but, They need to work on giving the others solo's instead of making it the Finn and Rachel Show I like the others singing also >_>

there was a 4 month break because FOX wasnt sure if GLEE would do well..so they only ordered liek 12 episodes...pilot to sectionals(thats why everything wrapped up so nicely in the Sectionals epidsode but left it open at the end..in case it was continued)...but with the massive responce they ordered 12 or however many more...thus this second half... and FOX has ordered a Second and Third season of GLEE..so we wont have to worry!!!!!
