omigosh I just need someone to share my fandom for this show with.

Favorite scenes? Who do you guys think that Rory should end up with? Did you like Luke/Lorelai? Lane was the most underused character ever?

I really love that scene where Jess comes to Rory's dorm and asks her to come and live with him. It was so nicely written, and I dunno if it's because Alexis Bedel and Milo Ventigilma were actually dating, but the acting just felt so sincere.

Honestly, ANYONE but Logan. He was an ******* to her and to everyone else, and I just wanted him done with. Dean was a little stalker-y obsessive, and he just didn't really fit into Rory's life. I hated Jess at first, but I started to root for him after a while. He was the only one that Rory could be real with, and even though he treated her badly, after he got his act together I think they would have been perfect together. And then there's Marty. I would have liked to see Rory at least kiss him or something, but he somehow got a stick stuck up his ass in season seven.

Luke/Lorelai:

What did you guys think of Christopher?

Personally, he annoyed me so much. He's part of the reason that I like Luke so much. Chris was never, ever there, and when he came he would just shake up Lorelai's life, which in turn would mess with Rory. I understand that he really did want to be with Lorelai, but he just... Well, I don't think there's really a way you can make up for all those years of not being there for his daughter. (although it was pretty cool of him to pay for Yale)

Christopher... one of my least favorite characters, just abovt Logan.

xD I would seriously hug any guy that would openly admit that he likes Gilmore Girls.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it ended because no one liked where season seven was headed. it might have also had something to do with it switching to CBS instead of ABC in the final season, but I'm not sure.

Edit: Yeah, Sookie owns too. xD Her storylines were always so funny. [especially the one where Jackson accidentally grows pot]

I totally agree with you there. He annoyed me, like, the first time I saw him. There was just something about him that made me cringe, you know. I think the whole paying for Yale thing was just a ploy to try to get back with them, honestly. Also, I really didn't like how much Lorelai's parents liked Chris, it seems a little out of character for them to me.

EDIT: OMG, the Jackson with the pot was great, and I agree, Sookie is awesome! XD

 

Man... Rory should have dumped Logan's sorry butt, started dating Jess, and Lorelai and Luke forever and ever.

 

Probably because he was of "good breeding" lol.

But I don't get why Lorelai hated Richard and Emily so much sometimes. I mean, they had their share of bad moments, but sometimes I wondered why she just seemed to constantly reject them [especially Emily]

random fact: Lorelai and Emily, throughout the entire seven seasons, never hugged.

I also don't get that, I mean, they did so many things for her. They helped her pay for Rory's Chilton tuition, etc. I really don't see why she couldn't have given them any, what's the word, recognition?

And wow, I didn't know that...honestly, I find that quite sad.

 

Do you know how many time Lorelai and Emily hugged throught the show?

 

The show was seven seasons, so they never hugged.

Yeah, it seems that around where I live and amongst teens in general there's no real following, even though it's an amazing show.

They actually were going to cancel it after the sixth season I believe, but then the CW bought the rights to it and made the seventh season (it was originally on ABC). The seventh season sucked though (ugggh Christopher), so it just ended up getting canceled.

Although I have that huge box set with all seven seasons, so I'm set. <3

I'm a guy, but I actually watched some of the episodes whenever I flipped around the channels. I thought that...um...Jess guy was cool.
