Why is it that almost all indie rappers all have the same lyrical flow?

 

I prefer the term, underground, thank you. And that's because most unsigned/underground rappers have yet to evolve and craft thier flow. Most of them have focus on thier lyrics before the flow.

Yeah, plus we might have to evolve it a bit to match the song/beat.

 

That's dumb. Over here we think of a theme, then the flow, then we craft the lyrics from that.

I personaly just have a simple flow the slightly varries depending on the beat, get a skelleton rhyme of a bout 4 bars, fill it in with nessecary parts, and build a fully functioning rhyme life form. Them kinda comes with the beat.The flow I've got is the basic flow of a rap, really. My whole mixtape focuses more on lyrics, with a bit of change in flow here and there and the next one is gonna be more work on flow.
