Do you have to play Final Fantasy 7 to understand whats going on? I'm like watching it on youtube and I'm on part 4 and I understand a little bit..
Not really, some of it maybe but not all, I have the DVD aso I watched this little thing which told you the story of FF7 before I even played it so I had some clue on what was going on.
just learn the main plot and you're fine, but i suggest the DVD because it has a featurette that sums up FF7.
It's "Reminensence (sp?) of Final Fantasy VII"...that's what it's called. The first time I watched it it was on demand and I understood it. And I've never played the game. So, it's pretty easy to understand.
OKay..I have a question... Who are they talking about a mother? I still don't get it..I'm on part 6 and before the 5th one went off.. Kadaj's gang was holding onto a rope, then they said, Mother is here...then it went off.. Who is mother?
first you can think its jenova but i think 100% that it is aerith who is the mother (on the last when kadaj dies)
Sephiroth refers to Jenova as mother, as well as Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo. But at the end, it confuses me...with the whole mother thing...
Aerith is not Mother. The Silver Haired Trio just think that she is. Remember the quote by Aerith, "Why is everyone calling me their 'mother' lately?"
aerith isnt mother jenova is... and well the ending is simple isnt it? i thought it was straight forward.
I think having SOME idea of the plot will help in understanding Advent Children. Otherwise it's a lot of questions. I watched it with someone who had just started playing FF7 and when Vincent appeared he's all like: 'Dude, who's the vampire?' -PAUSE. to explain who Vincent Valentine is and that he is NOT a vampire.- -Unpause- etc
Yeah....it was....but when I first saw it...and what Aerith said...I just always thought that they were always referring to Jenova..but then she said that mother thing...but yeah, it's simple to understand.
