I might get a psp and i was wondering...Do you think Crisis Core is worth getting if u never played Final Fantasy? I love FF 7 though I have not played it! What do u think?
Yes, I got it before playing FFVII, although I knew part of what happened in it. It's still a great game, it just tells the story before the original.
To be honest, I don't think Crisis Core is a good title to play as your introduction to the Final Fantasy franchise. Although Crisis Core is the first chapter in the FFVII compilation thus far, it's obvious they developed the game with the mindset that fans of the franchise were already accustomed to the FF ideology/flare. It's fun in its own right, but I don't think Crisis Core is an RPG that will really attract new gamers to the franchise as well as some of the older titles.
I loved it and I recommend it. Play the real FFVII after it and you will understand most of the game, first play through.
I think u should buy it, cause even though it was really easy to beat on normal, and hard is REALLY hard, the scenes are amazing, and the storyline was fun, but sad. It is one of my favorite games, and i would buy ff7 the original, but the cutscenes are really bad.....if they remake that, i will definetly get it!!
I really want this game. I'm actually saving up for the Crisis Core edition of the PSP that they made. I would've probably had it by now, but then I went and spent all my money on games
