Ever since the song was released, people have been covering "Let It Go" left and right. I wonder, which one(s) is your favorite? It would definitely have to be the Caleb Hyles cover. It was the closest to the original, and I'm not too much of a fan of a great song getting remixed or having stuff added like crazy to make it sound better according to someone else's taste.
The Google Translate version simply because it's hilarious. It's a pretty cool idea and it was something different to just doing a straight up cover. "Let us very angry" xD
My favorite version of Let it Go is actually the French version of it. I love how the actress seemed to really portray the meaning of the song and poured emotion into every single note. I was crying from the very first moment I heard her voice. Of course, that's technically not a cover because it's apart of the French official release. So, I'll go with my second best, which is The Piano Guys.
Caleb Hyles without a doubt. One day, I was just sitting here casually looking on youtube, listening to all these different covers of "Let It Go". I'd only recently seen Frozen so I was hooked on that song. Little did I know that upon stumbling onto Caleb Hyles' version of it, my ears would never hear another version of Let It Go that would make it seem anywhere near as good. The emotion in his voice and the way he projects it just utterly amazed me.
My favorite is actually sung by a girl named Elsie who's username is SweetPoffin. She did two versions, one that she did before she obsessed over the movie, and one after. before: after: I actually hear a difference... I dunno, one sounds more like a great vocal showcase and the newer one has more emotion. I think I might be a tad biased about her covers though.
