English Accents

I'm sorry but when i hear an English accent all that comes to mind is Austin Powers.

'Whoo! That is one crazy get-up, mister... Are you in the show?
No, actually, I'm English.'

The number of times i have quoted Austin Power infront of my sister inlaw is just unimaginable.

(waits for some angry Englishmen to reply how the Scottish accent reminds them of Fat B.) :P

There's something about the language I really love a lot. Half the time I read English text I think in British. And going to the UK itself makes me squee. :3

Why do you think I want to go to Japan so much, so I can get far away from the UK, Australia would be easier due to the lack of language barrier but meh.

 

Well i was mainly talking about England since when people talk about th UK they usually refer to England. Scotland is a smashing place. :P

 

One of the places I'd want to visit is Edinbourgh - I mean, castles! :3 That's just awesome, and we have goats and fjords.

And the low life expectancy rate in Glasgow reflects that. =D

 

Oh the great British accent^^ it's great! When I hear a scottish accent it reminds me more of Willy from The Simpsons, it doesn't remind me of fat b at all.

 

That's only becuase the majority of the population are neds. They out number us 10:1.
