Eclipse: The City of Dreams




New Story

After Kiara had died from an intruder alert, her sister Jordyn had took the throne... Her father had also died not too long after Kiara had died.... Nothing is known as of now about her friends, but as of now, Jordyn has plans of attack and plans of revenge upon the northern country... She has built a powerful army and has used so much of her time to let it go...

Queen Jordyn is now looking for a new Prince or King for a husband. She is not letting her title rank go though, to make another person the ruler of her new kingdom... She had thoughts to make a citizen and prince, then marry them and make them a king. She isn't able to do this on her own, but at the moment she is receiving help from the southern country to help with the war.

Young People though, one named Carli has began to construct their own army, to stop Jordyn's plans. In their plans, they could destroy the once beloved city that was once a beautiful sanctuary to escape to. It is hard to stop Jordyn, because they are unable to get to her, but they need help, and they are doing everything in their power to stop them.



Streets

Terrence-
Terrence is a very populated street. Most people come here for work, and in search of jobs. Guards are considered royalty there, as they also help around with those who can’t take care of themselves. At the end of the street is an old broken down house, where a lot of children live. They look forward to Kiara’s visit almost everyday. She is the only one other than a few bystanders who will look after them and take care of them. Terrence is considered the “Lower Class” street, where many homeless families spend their days.

Green Wood-
Green Wood is the wealthiest street, and the most popular. Most rich people come here to watch famous performances and great entertainment. Every home on this street is at least an acre apart, and the streets are always cleaned up. Usually once an unwealthy person steps foot on the street, they are sentenced to a day in the palace dungeon. If it happens again the sentence will be longer.

Lexicon
Lexicon is the market place of the street. Not one house is located in there. Mostly shoppers come for antiques and supplies for trips. Guards are very protective there and once they see someone who ‘steals’ they will be punished, no question’s asked. Mostly Middle Classes and Higher Classes come here. Lower classes only come if they are lucky enough.

Deartraed-
Deartraed is the street of dreams. It has been said to have a blessing on the streets for the ill. Most lower class come here, of their beliefs that the ones who blessed the street will bless them. Middle and Higher Class have never been seen on this street. Many homes and shelters are available, but only to those who really need it for their health.


Evana-
Evana is a street named after a great educator who taught the king herself. This street is all about education. Only 3 buildings lie in this street. A small building, and two large. The small building is for very young kids who need education. Higher, medium and lower class attends here. The middle building, which is one of the large is for the older kids who need a regular education. Mostly lower class and some medium class attends here. The large building on the end is for the best education. Higher class and some medium class attend here. When children become age of 15, they are done with school.


Jardin-
Jardin was named from a French word meaning “Garden”. This is mostly the only street you will see the ground on. Farmers work here, growing food and plants to be sold in the market. The business pays well, enough to be medium class. This street isn’t very populated. Only a few houses are located here, for the farmers and shippers.


NEW STREET

Nickidea-
This street is for the citizens against the wars that Queen Jordyn had planned on... Most of the citizens against are joining Carli's resistance group. They have hung up posters leading towards this certain spot... Here, no person is to be afraid of execution, to be against the new ruler. Here, no one shall worry about the guards.... This is a safe place, for anyone in need.




Jobs

There are many jobs in the City of Dreams.

Maid/Servant- They work in the palace for the King and his daughter. Paid by the king and daughter themselves, enough to stay in higher class and live in the palace.
Guard- They makes sure that peace is kept in the city. Paid to almost be Higher Class
Farmer- They grow food and plats to be sold in the city. Paid enough for Medium Class
Shipper- they make sure that the plants and food is took to the sellers. Paid enough for Middle Class
Seller- sells antiques/accessories/food for the king. Paid enough for Middle class.
Blacksmith- sells weapons. Is paid for every weapon they sale. They make their own money, not for the king.

Bio: She is in charge of Eclipse, and wants to get revenge on the country that had took her former kingdom into Peril, and her thoughts are nothing but black, empty memories... Her sister was never the person she thought she was. Instead of getting revenge, she helped the city on it's own, instead of demanding the other country to pay for it's actions. Her hatred for that country is more than she could imagine.
History: As a young girl, when the war broke out, she was took from anyone, and she was all alone. Growing up for her was the worst part. She couldn't own anything, due to her slavery. She had no opinions, no rights, nothing to her name. Only a whip, and a piece of bread, once in a while.

History: Her parents had been took from her.... when the war first broke out, she didn't have anyone. She worked for an elderly woman, that took great care of her. She didn't want any guards to catch on that the elderly woman was nice, so she would usually let the woman act angry towards her when they came in for inspections. When she got older, she was released into the wild, and back towards Eclipse. She grew up, helping the city back on it's feet.

Carli's quick thinking is what got her in the mess she was in. Her feet ran as fast as they could, but her legs kept giving out on her. She would trip every two minutes, making the guards chasing her catch up just a little bit. Her heart thudded against her chest, and her breathing wouldn't stop going at least 100 mph. The cool sweat broke off across her face as the guards gained up on her, trailing her.
"Stop it! Leave me alone!" she cried out. Her thoughts weren't going to stop her on that... Neither would the yelling. They guards had an evil look in their eye, and of course, if they're working for Queen Jordyn, she'd be executed on the spot!
"Stop in the name of Queen Jordyn!" one of them shouted. If she kept running, she would get in more trouble.. But what is worse than the death penalty? Probably they'd torture her before execution. She felt something grab along the silk cloth on her shirt, and felt something jerk her back. Her whole body slammed into the ground, and she was unable to breathe. Her back ached so much and the bright sun blinded her eyes, and she felt something pull her up and over on an unsteady edge. She realized one of them threw her over their shoulder.
"Put me down!" she shrieked, kicking her feet and her hands. The other guard had used his sheath and hit her over the head, making her stop in her tracks, and making her forehead bleed. She was out like a light, when she heard something about an execution. The only thing on her mind now... was that she needed to be alive.

 

jecht looked down on the scene he had recently taken to watching these as the city practicaly collapsed on its self he sighed and jumped down on the guards
"thats not very nice"
he roundhouse kicked the guard holding the girl making him drop her then continued to beat the others into submission
he then picked up the girl
"hey you okay?"

 

Carli felt the guard apparently drop her. She heard some voice saying 'That's Not Nice'... Her thoughts wrapped around that sentence for the time that she felt the hot ground against her body. The only thing else she could hear was the thudding of the guy probably fighting the other guards... What? She already tried and even tried to run but couldn't. This guy must be strong apparently. She felt the ground leave underneath her, and her eyes opened up again to the bright sun. She saw him and she had a faint blush to her cheeks.
"Y-Yeah, i guess," she said, rubbing her head. She felt a warm liquid run down her face. She realized she was bleeding from where the one guard has hit her in the head. She groaned softly to herself and examined the blood dripping from her head.

 

jecht saw her bleeding and pulled out some badages
"let me take care of that"
he reached over and started rapping up her head
"so hows the resistence effort going?" he asked her off handedly

 

Her eyes lit up slightly when he mentioned her Resistance group.
"Well, so far i can't get any members. There are too many citizens afraid of the queen that they wouldn't dare turn their backs on her...." she said. She winced slightly when he put the bandage on her head. She smiled thought at his wonderful effort....
"Thanks," she said. She heard something walking behind her. She saw about ten guards. The queen must've sent them just for her. Her head hurt slightly from the last one.
"Uh oh," she said with a frown, trying to find her knife.

 

jecht looked over his shoulder and saw them
"oh we have guests"
he faced them and raised his left arm it transformed into a dragonlike arm then grew a dragon head
"take this dragon cannon"
he blasted them away transfroming his arm back the ripped bandages on it showed a dragon tatto
"sorry you had to see that"

 

Carli's heart thudded once he started transforming. After that she just heard him say 'Sorry you had to see that'.... In her mind, she could only stare at his tattoo. It made her confused and worried and curious all the same times.
"Why do you have that tattoo?" she asked, her breathe suddenly short. It was soft and quiet... She looked around noticing they were alone. She looked back at him again, curiosity in her eyes.

 

jecht grinned and began to rerap it
"thats my little secret so im not gonna tell you"
he looked her and reliezed she was scared
"what what is it?"
he finished rapping his arm then looked at her again
"spit it out?'

 

Her thoughts wrapped too much around Kiara now. Her long lost best friend... That was the boy that she described to her.
"You......knew Kiara...didn't you?" she asked, still scared that she found him.
Her thoughts only focused around those two now. Maybe if Kiara were here, she could've explained more, but sadly, she's not. She wouldn't let this war go on.. She would've stood with the resistance group...
"Kiara," she said softly, remembering her soft face and her lovely clothes.. Also her impact for danger.

 

jecht looked at her his eyes dialeting
"she ....she was my best friend"
he kneeled by her
"how ....how do ..you know her?"

 

Slight tears formed in her eyes. He knew her of course.
"I did know her," she said the words with such vain, such insecurity in her tone. Tears fell from her cheeks all the way down her face. Stifled sobs rose from the back of her burning throat.
"She was my best friend....also...." she sobbed out. She put her hand on his shoulder.
"Before she died....she gave me something to give to you... it's in a package though," she said. She pulled out a wrapped blue package and put it gently in his hand, still shaky from the crying.

 

jecht looked at it what would she have given him what could it have been he couldnt think of what ...........except for maybe....
he carfully took the rapping off revealing a picture in a frame of the 2 of them
jecht stared at this a single tear dropping from his face
he then noticed something beneath it he moved the picture and saw it was a broadsword
"thank you for bring this for me"

 

She saw him rip open the package like i it were something so important he couldn't wait to see. She saw the picture frame and smiled.
"That's a lovely photo," she said. Her thoughts consumed around it again. Her thoughts always seemed to be lurking at something important that just comes up. But at least now, she was able to realize why he cared so much for her.
"You're very welcome," her voice trailed.
"I'd do anything for Kiara," she said again. She saw the broadsword that he found behind the picture. Her eyes grew wide and she couldn't think of anything to say about it. She pulled her knife out after hearing something behind her then felt something grab her. Another guard she bet. She felt him wrap his arm around her neck and she couldn't breathe. She saw alot more coming behind Jecht.
"Watch Out!" she choked out of her throat. Her eyes became dark, and she tried to stab him with his knife. She she saw a whole army of them around her now. She fussed and cried out as more got around them. She stabbed the guy holding her which made him drop her.

 

jecht grabbed the sword and aura wrapped around it and his arm
"id segest you would let her go"
his eyes were now a brillient crimson
when they didnt let her go he moved fast he swung his sword and a single shot of aura shot out and hit each guard
"we'd better move"
he grabbed the picture and then housted her on his back
"hang on"
he then took of running

 

She felt herself get on him.
"Whoa!" she shouted once he started running. She held onto him, not tightly, but enough to hang on. Her arms were wrapped around him. She could hear his heart thudding within every step he took.
"Where are you taking me!?" she shouted, over the wind. It was hard enough to hear and talk, but she didn't know if he could hear her or not. He was too fast for her to open her eyes, r else her eyes would just shut again from the wind.
