Earthquake

Those in England have probably all heard about the Earthquake that hit Lincolnshire and well 5 other counties. Not an extremely powerful one it was 5.4 on the richter scale, but it's a big one for England. XD

Apparently people say they felt it here in Liverpool a good 165 miles away from the epicentre. One of my flatmates said they were scared as they didn't know what it was. I for one never felt the bloody thing. It happened at 1am, so I was online at the time., didn't feel a thing. I doubt the fact it even could be felt here.

Well we blame the earthquake for our broken toaster.

RIP Toaster.

 

You didn't even feel it? xD I only felt an earthquake once in my life,but I'll remember it forever o.o

 

Luckily I wasn't near it or I didn't feel it, but one of my mates' dad was up at that time and he felt it and he said it scared the s*** out of him and I live near him so it really didn't make sense, but I felt one before, my room shook.

Edit: I'm in London Btw.

 

Apparently it was felt here in Northern Ireland as well. I was up at 1am too but didn't feel a thing xD

It was also felt in Amsterdam supposedly <_>

Well, I didn't feel anything either. :\ Because I was sleepin'. :3 Plus I live too far North to have been near it.

I wish I'd felt it though, lol.. There might not be another one as big as that in our lifetime. lol, boring England.


Question: how did we even get an earthquake? We don't live on a fault line. o,o

 

That earthquake went all the way from Scotland to where I am in the south... I was asleep though :P

 

I've only ever been in 1 real earthquake before, and I slept through it. Oh the excitement!
