Devil Arms

Based on the Devil May Cry series this story takes place a few decades before Dante or Vergil are born.

Story

After Sparda sealed the gates of hell all over the world he sealed all the souls of the devils he slew in the demon realm not knowing that eventually those same demons would remerge to face his sons. Sparda travelled the world slaying any demons that slipped through onto the other side, his power was not what it used to be but he still was strong enough to destroy evil. Sparda discovered that when he sealed the gates he did not fully seal the souls thus leading to chosen humans wielding Devil Arms. Demons began appearing more often as more and more humans took up Devil Arms and sorcerers began contracting with devils. Sparda went to recollect and truly seal the Devils Arms away but before he could a strange yet powerful demon imprisoned him in a dimension of his own creation and separated him from his current weapons. This demon went and forged a gate to the demon realm allowing demons to attack a city hidden in the mountains called Imperia.

Rumour then spread across the world to those with Devil Arms that the city of Imperia held great secrets that could grant them whatever they desire. Many humans began going to Imperia those without Devil Arms and those with Devil Arms.

Devil Arms (humans only) (one per person, if you don’t want a devil arm or there are none left to choose you can makeup your own weapon or use something like Nero’s Red Queen but explain its abilities if any)

Ifrit -- The gauntlet form of the Fire Devil Ifrit. They have the ability to attack with hellfire. Similar to Beowulf and Gilgamesh.
Alastor -- The sword form of the Lightning Devil Alastor. It is as light as air and it can attack with lightning.
Cerberus -- The tripartite nunchaku form of the Three Headed Ice Dog Demon Cerberus. It has the ability to attack with ice.
Agni & Rudra -- The twin sword demons Agni and Rudra. They have the ability to do combined fire and wind attacks but when one of the two is used by itself they are not as powerful as when together.
Nevan -- The guitar form of the Lightning Witch Nevan. It allows the user to summon lightning charged bats to swarm and attack enemies based on the notes of the guitar, it also can transform into a scythe like weapon for close range attacks.
Beowulf -- The gauntlet and greaves form of the LightBeast Beowulf. They have the ability to attack with light. Similar to Ifrit and Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh -- A set of gauntlets, greaves, and mask equipped with thruster-like machine built inside. This is the weapon form of an unknown demon but allows the user great use of enhanced strength and combat speed when the thrusters are activated. Similar to Ifrit and Beowulf.
Lucifer -- An armor-like apparatus that is capable of summoning spectral blades. This is the weapon form of an unknown demon.
Nightmare-β -- A demonic fire-arm capable of firing multiple, reflectable lasers.
Artemis -- A demonic fire-arm which can fire multiple lasers at either one or many targets, as well as into the sky, creating an "Acid Rain" effect.
Pandora -- A briefcase capable of transforming into different weapons. Its known tranformations are: A Bowgun, Bazooka, Laser Cannon, Gatling Gun, Mobile Missile Battery and Boomerang/Shuriken. It can also be opened to create a damaging light.
Yamato -- The O-katana that eventually becomes Vergil’s memento and main weapon. It is capable of cutting through nearly anything effortlessly and can summon spectral blades for distant objects. It was used by Sparda to seal the hell gates. It along with Rebellion are currently Sparda’s weapons.
Rebellion -- The sword that eventually becomes Dante’s memento and main weapon. It is a physical manifestation of the users power. It along with Yamato are currently Sparda’s weapons although Sparda uses Yamato more due to Rebellions power being dormant.

Rules
1. No godmodding or power playing.
2. PG/13, not too gory and keep the romance to a minimum I’ve seen rps die from contant making out.
3. Fire arms can be used but it’s around the 1970s and only have one (twin handguns count as one).
4. One warning then I’m kicking you.
5. No singing.
6. Try to progress the story and not stay in the same place for the whole RP.
7. Type Showtime! In your other part of the character skeleton.
8. If your using a Devil Arm make sure its one you know of from DMC otherwise you won’t use it properly and will ruin the RP for everyone.
9. No demon hybrids, seriously only Dante and Vergil are half demons in DMC.
10. Do not make things up or try to pull this into a direction that differs from the way Devil May Cry is.
11. Humans do not have super powers, some make contracts with demons which give them abilities based on that demon.
12. Not everyone is one your side, remember that.
13. Be realistic if your making your own weapons instead of a Devil Arm and don’t come up with stupid names or backgrounds.

Personality/traits: Over the top excitable and enjoys fighting.
History: After getting in one of his usual bar fights he angered someone who he later found out was a demon. It was the same demon that sealed Sparda, after a rough fight he managed to evade long enough to grab the demons arms and steal his weapon. Using his weapon against him he managed to fend him off realising he could use this demon weapon. Leon then headed after more demons until he heard about Imperia and headed out.

History: His origins are unknown but it is known that he is stronger than most demons. His powers are incredibly unique and he is a devastating foe due to the fact that he beat Sparda.
Main Weapon: Rebellion (though he can’t use its power) and a demonic sword that resembles his true demon form.
Other weapon: none, his long range weapons are fire balls he can fire.

Personality/traits:Sarcastic, but she is kind around people she trusts. There is nothing she wouldn't do for her friends, if she had any, but she moved to the city looking for a new life, not power.
History: After losing both her parents in a fire, she stayed with friends, before finally moving to the city, looking for a new life. Her parents had her study fighting styles, and she picked up a talent for it. After getting her demon arm, she is searching for why her parents mysteriously died.

Other weapon: Small knife hidden in her shirt.

Preview Post: Aly locked the door behind her, then stepped onto the street, moving with the crowd. She hummed under her breath, her eyes watching every person near her for a threat. Her parents gone, it was up to her to keep herself safe. She had promised her mom she would, and she would keep that promise. Only Death could part her from this, and it had tried, many times.
