Thank you for reawakening my hate for the Star Wars prequels. Mesa losing so many brain cells, not even a clone army and a robotic body could help me now.
I agree that it was the best out of the prequels, but there was a lot that could've been improved. Like Greivous, they never really explained him. Plus they made all the droids sound like ****, and I was expecting them to sound more like the Republic Commando droids (the SBDs at the very least).
The only reason you hate the prequels is because you know what happens and what has to happen. Therefore every time there is a choice in the film you know what choice is going to be made and why. The fault lies with starting the films in the middle of the 6 films as opposed to the start.
They explained him in the comics and *somewhat* in the cartoon. What you should be complaining about is how Lucas forced the guy who did the cartoon to find a way they could dumb down Greivous for the film because he was seriously too badass in the cartoon. Guy writing the cartoon was fucking pissed and was forced to make Windu force crush Greivous' chest to cripple him for the film. I actually enjoyed the humorous droid dialog or do you just hate the voice?
I hate the first film because of the shitty writing and Jar Jar Binks+Anakin. I hate the second film because shitty writing and DURR MAH MOTHER DIED IN MAH DREAMS HURR I KILLED ALL THE RAIDERS. Jango made it worth watching though. I loved the third film.
I like the prequels. :'D No, they don't stand up to the originals at all, but they could've been worse.
Yeah, that pissed me off too. But most people I know don't read the comics, and assumed that Greivous was like...an experiment gone bad. A little of both; I think I might have liked the dialogue better if the voices weren't so squeaky. Because I honestly liked their dialogue in Republic Commando, like when the SBDs say "Meatbags sighted" or "I hear something..." in their deep voices.
... This is a sin. Also the prequels were alright, ROTS was the best of the prequels, but AOTC was decent in my opinion. Pretty much just for Jango though.
but cute 'lil Ani just won the pod race! I remember when Phantom Menace first came out. I loved it. I don't like the prequels solely because of what they've done to the series, what with the Clone Wars TV Show and making kids think incredibly false things about the whole mulitverse.
