    Daredevil is an upcoming show focusing on the Marvel superhero of the same name. It's the third show to be set in the MCU (after Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter), but unlike the first two shows, will have its first season exclusively available for binge-watching on Netflix in April 10th. Daredevil will be the first of four Netflix shows that will eventually lead to a Netflix teamup known as "The Defenders." Welp, looks like I'm gonna have to subscribe to Netflix pretty soon.

    I would think it's Absorbing Man due to his past with Matt's father, but I feel like that's too easy.
    I don't know, I keep expecting a curveball from superhero shows.

    Show's been renewed for a second season, scheduled for next year. And I also happened to watch all Season 1 episodes recently, and since it'll take a long time to give thoughts on each episode, I'll just give a general thought on the whole thing:

    It was very different then what has been seen in the MCU so far (more blood and bones breaking), but I thought the show was pretty superb, leaving me wanting more of it (which thankfully is happening).

    Wait, the first season is already done? How many episodes was that? Seems like it went by really quickly. Then again, I suppose I've seen others shows that started with only 6 episodes for their first season but continued on into full 24 episode seasons

    Filming for Season 2 appears to have started, earlier than the previously assumed start date of July.

    EDIT: And I still thought it was June. My bad...

    Have they started filming the other shows or ... ? I heard they' ll do like four or five shows based on a bunch of lower profile heroes (only one I recognized aside from Daredevil was Luke Cage, and his name is pretty much the only thing I know about him) and gather them all to make a Defender series or something ?

    Do they intend to make each show one at a time, like the Avengers movies ? Because this could easily become a jumbled mess. Having five shows in parallel would be hellish to keep track of. I also wonder how close in tone to Daredevil the others will be, I could really dig more of the same gritty approach.

    placeholder I know they started filming A.K.A. Jessica Jones a while ago, and have probably finished by now, at that. No word on Luke Cage's filming, and Iron Fist casting has yet to happen/be announced.
