I have the sudden urge to cosplay and finding a tailor who is willing to make one so long as I provide pics.

Any tips on who I should be (no one from Naruto, Inuyasha, Bleach, or anything that is too predictable) and how I can find anime conventions more easily?

Which reminds me, why do girls like cosplaying as guys, anyway?

    Couple reasons actually.

    1. They like the male characters
    2. Male character cosplays are, more often than not, easier
    3. Have you ever seen a yaoi cosplay skit with two cosplayers who are actually guys?

The third one may or may not be predominant.

HOW ARE THEY EASIER?! They have to wear a wig/cut their hair short and, and, and, wear bandages and other stuff and...yeah.

Yeah. Girls have it easy. All they have to wear is that skimpy japanese school girl outfit they bought online for their boyfiriend.

How complicated/in-depth/accurate do you think the average fangirl gets with their cosplays?

Some of them, yes, but you'll find that most of the cosplays out there are extremely simplified.

I think the reason is becuase most anime fangirls (NOTE i said most not all) are yaio fangirls. And all the yaio fangirls (NOTE i said all not some or most) a crazy fan brats who want attnention. So they cosplay as men so they can get that good feeling of attention at them as everyone else thinks "What the f-ck's up with that chick, is she a lesbian or something?"

You can go as somebody from Reborn, or HunterxHunter

And most likely someone is going to be him above.
