I don't hold much faith in music these days, alot of it is generic crap that's really just a cash chip and songs are made to be catchy regardless of good, but the confusion is held that catchy = good, not the case. That being said, I quite like this guy, he's got soul in his voice, I actually feel like he enjoys making music and I've not heard a song from him that I don't like. Any fans? Opinions?
He's a very good singer. I like him. He's one of the few artists I know who's both catchy and yet also has great lyrics and not full of senseless blabber.
I think he had a bad run with coke one of these times, but Bruno Mars has a very beautiful voice, and I honestly think he's one of the best singers out there. I remember when I first heard him sing, I had compared him to Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic because their voices are very similar, but they are pretty different. In any case, I don't have any albums of his, but I do have two or three singles. I should probably get some albums, I'm just afraid his music style might be different from the music that I do have of him. :c
Bruno Mars is very talented. I admire him as a musician. I agree that he is much better than most garbage on the radio nowadays. Too bad I wasn't born back when the music was more than "swag swag swag on you". (Not hating on Bieber, I think he has talent too. Needs better writers though.) He is one of the few artists that I don't get annoyed by when one of their songs come on the radio. His songs are not only very emotional but also catchy and his singing is beautiful. The Lazy Song is probably one of the only Bruno Mars songs I don't really favor. Much much more pleasant than all the Call Me Maybe bubblegum pop trash that plays everywhere.
He only has one album at the moment Doo-Wops & Hooligans, and he's released music videos for almost half the album, and the other half is much the same to those not released, it's very enjoyable to listen to, you should make it a point to pick up.
He is talented. That is for sure. I wish he wasn't in such a terrible industry though. Most of his music, I have admired. There is one he has the I don't care for due to it being a bit "Lazy". He has soul, he doesn't auto tune (A+ for him), and he shows character other than that laziness of his with that one song.
Probably one of the very few new popular singers I can stand. Love his style that reminds me of the ol' 50's (I think it was the 50's at least...) But I hate that one Lazy Song.
Everyone seems to, it honestly doesn't bother me too much, I think it's not one of his stronger songs, but it's still a nice and catchy song, where he still sings perfectly fine.
I personally liked the Lazy Song. Guess it hasn't been ruined for me yet. And I adore Bruno Mars to this day, I used to listen to 'Talking to the Moon' and 'Marry You' all the time. I hope I got those two song names right. But as he released more songs I stuck with him. Because he does have that...back in time ol' 50s feel too him. And I love old music. I mean, if someone called beer, dancing juice, you'd think he was some weirdo born in the 40s. Bruno is my weirdo born in the 40s-50s. And I love it. Also, you can't forget that soul in his voice. I hope he doesn't burn it out or something.
