No, it's for BlazBlue. The fighting game series made by the same people who made Guilty Gear.

I've never heard of BlazBlue. But if it's form the same team that made Guilty Gear, it should be good. Time to use Google and look this **** up.

From the makers of Persona 4 Arena I present you Blazblue Crono Phantasma. The third installment in the Blazblue series. This game comes with three new character's as well as two old characters still playable (Lambda, and Kusanagi ). The characters are even more powerful, Ragna got toned down.
It's already released in Japan. The US release date still remains a mystery.Only three questions are on our minds.........How many Blazblue games will it take to have Jubei, Kokonoe, Torakoka, and Nine to be a playable character?
How unbalance and overpowerful will Tager be?
How badass will the unlimited characters be?

    NEW ENGLISH TRAILER FROM E3

    THANK YOU BASED ARCSYS

No word on a concrete release date yet but at least we have 100% authentic confirmation that we're getting it, as if we weren't before haha.[DOUBLEPOST=1371048055][/DOUBLEPOST]'Nother small update: It seems pretty clear that Chronophantasma isn't coming to Xbox 360, but Arc System Works and Aksys keep deflecting the question of why to each other. Hm. Maybe they just don't want to do it?

    HI I'M BACK

    Bought the Japanese version

    It's so godlike

Azrael is everything I hoped he'd be ; u; And Terumi is ridiculously fun. Imagine if Hazama traded all of his range for command grabs and meter drain. And also if he went full slasher villain and RAKED HIS KNIFE ACROSS THE GROUND AS HE RAN. (Yes he does run.)

Also: KOKONOE'S GONNA BE PLAYABLE. I still have a bit left of that mysterious currency known as HONG KONG DOLLARS, so hopefully I'll be able to take her for a spin when she's released and relay the deets. In the meantime if anybody wants to know anything (that a non-Japanese speaker or reader could figure out by blindly stumbling through game modes), lemme know and I'll see what I can dig up.

How's that double post treatin' ya?

Nah but srsli, always wanted to try this series. Haven't ever been very good at 2D fighters (mainly because I don't know the genre conventions), and the last one I was moderately decent at was Street Fighter: 3rd Strike... on the Xbox. No, not the Xbox 360. The Xbox.

Unfortunately the execution has been pretty tough since CS2 and onward, but it's still good fun either way. The tutorials are lengthy and detailed, challenge mode (while insistent on teaching you TOTALLY impractical combos) can help improve your execution somewhat, and there are lots of fun modes besides Arcade and Story. Like Abyss mode, where you run through a gauntlet of enemies and get stat boosts and powerups after each checkpoint. The Story mode's a good place to unwind, too; it's told visual novel-style, and while there are a generous number of fights, it's still less than a single Arcade run in most instances. Not to mention the joke endings in the Story mode are friggin' hilarious, if esoteric at times.

If you wanna pick it up, I'd recommend getting Continuum Shift EX right now and waiting for Chronophantasma to hit the U.S. in Q1 next year. EX has a pretty comprehensive summary of the plot thus far, as well as fleshing out the roles of some DLC characters added late in CS's lifespan. (Abyss works kinda differently from what I described tho, since I'm going off BBCP's version.)

    HELLO YOU ALL.

HAVE SOME HAKUMEN BEING HAKUMEN YOU ALL:

(Get used to seeing your victories being frustrated by this guy or learn him, your choice)

Also, US release date apparently set for March 2014 with a limited edition: http://www.aksysgames.com/2013/11/0...e-march-2014-limited-edition-price-announced/

Huge gap may be given there's no translated text on the JPN version, and some battle ENG voiceovers are missing (I think I heard Litchi with a blank line vs Kagura once). There's also that there's a lot stuff to localize voice-wise now (Like the system announcers, the aforementioned missing lines and of course, Story/Arcade Modes)

But given the high sales rate for the JPN version, it's safe to assume most people who are BB fans already imported, lol (Or atleast I can guess given Dustloop's high import rate)

Sadly I will be passing on this game and Xrd given no PS3, but I DO know somebody who has one, so I might get to play atleast Xrd.

On another news, ASW has been as of lately taking all the ChronoPhantasma OST rips, but eh, it's not like I liked the remixes that much outside of X-Matic II anyways. I am a sucker for The Tyrant and Six Heroes, but those were composed by Daisuke himself apparently.

    CHRIST

I KNEW I SHOULD'VE RIPPED THOSE VIDEOS YESTERDAY

    DAMNIT AAAA /FLIPS THE PLANET

I still don't get why they don't ever take down Daisuke's original work, especially when it's mostly better.
