Birth by Sleep Birth by Sleep's sequels?

I was just thinking that Birth by Sleep is already a spin-off of a spin-off. But Birth by Sleep could be an entire series with several prequels about Terra's life while being trained by Master Xehanort and a midquel about King Mickey obtaining the Keyblade and also maybe if they don't have it in BBS, a prequel explaining Master Xehanort seduction into evil.

 

'Spin-off of a spin-off'? Do you mean spin-off of KH? Master Xehanort is not Terra's teacher, by the way... Why would Master Xehanort send Terra, Ven, and presumably Aqua off to stop himself? That would be stupid...

 

Master Xehanort is not the leading Keyblade Weilder. I thought it WAS Master Xehanort who was Terra's teacher.

Kingdom Hearts is a spin-off of Final Fantasy and Disney Films. So Birth By Sleep is a spin-off of a spin-off.

 

He's not... Like I said, it would be stupid for ANYONE to send someone off to stop themselves... the teacher of those three is currently unknown...

I think rather, Kingdom Hearts contains Final Fantasy and Disney elements. Mere cameos in Final Fantasy's case.

Also, is it a spin off? It seems to carry on the formula pretty well, and looks as true to the series as KH2. KH:Mobile was a spin off. But this is another in the series. Like Crisis core. (Oh god, I think using that game as I reference was a bad idea, I know nothing about it!)

Personally, I don't know which FFVII games to call spin-offs... the one that's probably closest to that category is probably Before Crisis, but I dunno...

And yeah, the first KH mobile game was DEFINITELY a spin-off...

 

It's possible but I doubt we would go even FURTHER back in time. For this to happen there must be some HUGE plot holes in Birth By Sleep.

 

there probably wont be. like nomura said it is 3 games in one. each senario story line take place at different timelines and it is going to cover the WHOLE ten years be4 the originak kingdom hearts game. so yeah... i dont thin so. but it would be awsome

 

3 scenarios... yes... 10 years before kh1... yes... BBS covering 10 years... I doubt it...

Yeah the three scenarios are basically sequels in a way. Hmm maybe sidequel would be a better word. PS3 version of the game is something I can imagine for all three games. a Wii version of 358/2 Days just doesn't work for me.

 

If it was 10 years before the original Kingdom Hearts we all know, how come Master Xenort is bald?

 

'All three games'? Coded would NEVER be released on PS3, or any home console for that matter... the other two maybe though...

I don't think it's Aqua... the gap between BBS and Days (or KH1 if XIV is introduced in the prologue) is a bit TOO long for it make much sense to be Aqua... Though, I don't have any real ideas on who it actually is...

 

well im usuming that there gonna explain that ten years because:

1. they said imediatly after bbs kh1 happend. so i dont think they would just skip to the last year be4 kingdom hearts 1.

2. nomura said that each senario's story will take place in SIMILAR timelines meaning not at the same time but around the same time period.

thats why i think we'll over look what happend in the 10 years sora wasnt keyblade master ^^

 

Noruma might have certain scenarios start later but go farther, for example a Ven scenario might start when he meets Terra but go all the way to the point of him trying to fight Master Xehanort.

 

I don't recall anything saying BBS would cover 10 years... and technically, Sora's not a Keyblade Master at all...

 

I don't remember Nomura saying that -immediately- after BBS that KH begins. I just recall him saying BBS is set 10 years prior to KH, at least at the end of it. Considering we know roughly what happened in the 9 years that was before KH through the Ansem reports and some characters' statements who came from Radiant Gardens, I don't think BBS covers that whole span of time.

It's clear that the times may be different the 3 story main characters coincide and meet up with one another etc. However, we don't know how much further back it will go than 10 years. When they say 10 years, I am pretty well seeing that since Sora and Riku are 4 and 5 on the beach and at 5 and 6 years old Kairi is sent to the Islands by Xehanort, that BBS time -stops- at 10 years rather than begins at 10 years ago.

 

What if the End Credits show scenes like Ansem finding Xehanort and the apprentices betrayal.
