A tiny rant -- Total Drama Edits

Episode 13 just showed in america. Canadian fans of the show will recognize this as the episode called "x-Treme Torture" where Chris once again puts the campers though more sadistic challenges. I was quite happy that Cartoon network didn't edit out Trent's little line "Best glimpse of heaven's on the way to hell" because I figured there would be massive fail if it was edited. I was happy for that, I secretly thanked Cartoon Network and the FCC inside my heart.
But the rage came to me towards the end of the show when Heather got her boob shot.
Okay, so I honestly did expect a lot less of the actual scene itself. I figured they'd simply show the branch ripping off her top and that it would merely be implied. However, they surprised me and left in the entire scene, censor mosiac and all.
The ****** part was Harold's reaction.
Originally, he said 'boobies' and once he saw Heather's chest. He FREAKED.
And they changed it to... booyah? BOOYAH?! Okay, Okay, fine. They're doing their job, I can understand that. I had absolutely no problem with this.
But then... my mind was changed at the end.
They said 'boobies' like, 2 times at the end. Both Harold and Bridgette said it. Then they just screwed up the entire flow of it and started saying 'chest' instead of 'boobs'. Okay, once again, fine although the edit was choppy and obvious. But then about 2 seconds later Heather said 'boobs' like she originally had.

The entire edit-fest fried my brain. Honestly Cartoon Network, if you're going to edit, edit the whole damn scene, or just leave it in. Don't do this ><


Also, they edited Leshawna saying "Do you know anyone else here with a booty as lucious as an apple?" to "Do you know anyone else here with a kick-butt attitude like mine?"

 

Wow... They really killed that scene, it was actually funny in the original version.
This sounds really lame. lol

 

That does sound irritating. Almost as bad as Sanji's cigarette in One Piece.

Is this show any good? I'm bored and need lulz.

Its a very funny show. I already got RRMS and Kitty to watch it x3

Check out Saradomin815's channel. If you do happen to watch the episodes make sure thye aren't the CN version, they edit out most of the lulz.​

But maaaajor plot hole. If green mohawk boy can go back to juvie at any time, why can he sign legal contracts? You have to 18 to do that, and when you're 18 you can't go to juvie. amirite?

Eh, it would seem that even with the edits its considered a more mature show. It's hard when you have a childish concept with adult themes like TDI.​

A fun gesture? It made me look like a fool, like I couldn't tell the difference between the adult block of a station and the kids block.

Anyways, if you aren't avid on the subject you shouldn't comment on it. I do agree this would be better off in the M&M section, but I doubt the replies, excluding yours, would be any different.​
