A rant. About Baptists.

*If there are any baptists on this site, I don't mean to offend you, really I don't, maybe it was just these particular baptists who were so ridiculously not wanting me to kiss*

Alright. So. Today I went to the football game, 'twas fun, yadda yadda, N' so me n' my boyfriend are friends with this one really nice girl who is baptist. She said she's having a huge gathering of people at her church to play ultimite frisbee and manhunt. Her church has a big huge parking lot and lots of great hiding spots, so naturally we said we'd go. Well, we show up, and half the people who say that they were gonna come don't, and we don't even go outside, we have to stay inside. So there's pizza. Before we eat it we have to pray. After we eat it they tell us we can't go outside and have to play kick the can with an empty tub of butter. So we went downstairs and obviously I called my mom to take me home, but it takes her about 15 minutes to get there, so I had to wait. Well, while we were waiting, adult baptists started ushering us back upstairs. I said my ride is coming so we can just wait downstairs, and then my boyfriend suggested that we just go stand outside together (with no one else there) to wait for my mom. PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO KISS, YES? Well of course it was ruined. The freaking baptist lady was like "oh no just go upstairs, I'll watch out the window" and then even when my mom got here, of course my boyfriend walked me out, this freaking lady walks down there with is. It's like she thinks if we touched at all the church would implode. I am not saying all baptists are like this, but god damn, I never thought a baptist would ruin my ideal 'first-kiss-in-the-rain' theme that I've wanted for like ages. And it was raining too. So perfect. Yet so far.

Seriously, if you wanted to kiss him - like REALLY! you should've completely ignored 'em n' walked out as soon as he suggested it. You should've ran out to the back of the buildin' n' did your stuff. O:3

Well... I'm not a baptist but she was being a little over protective but meh.

I know how that would feel.... but at least not all of them are like that. ^^

 

This is why I avoid church related things unless its summer camp. Some people can't tell the difference between pre-marital sex and a kiss.

 

I would have pulled the girl aside and demand to play ultimate.
The same thing kind of happened for me...but instead of it being baptists...it's mormons.

They are convinced they can convert me. They are forming an army to come after me.
