I didn't find a thread for this band anywhere(which is a shame) so I decided to make one. What is 65daysofstatic? My personal opinion One of my favorite bands because I really like the way that they don't like being defined by just one genre and the way that they blend so many different genres together. Sure in general, they're a post rock band since they tend to the step away from the norm of rock but if you have ever listened to their albums, you can see the evolution. From the math and post rock of their debut, "The Fall of Math" to the more electronic and dance feel of their most recent album, "We Were Exploding Anyway", you can hear the change. I like the direction that they're making in there music although I do like their older stuff more but that doesn't mean that the new album isn't bad. So far all I've listened to by them was We Were Exploding Anyway (which by the way has gorgeous cover art), but I did quite like that one. "Come to Me" and "Piano Fights" were my favorites. I'll definitely give the ones you recommended a listen. <3
