tbot: i cant wait for this movie to come out since it is going to have some badass action and (hopefully) a great story line.

and i think the release date nicely fits in with the release of GOW2 since both have to do with spartans :3

I saw the trailer for this on TV last night..<3

I can't wai tot go see it, it looks amazing, just because of the kickass photofilters they put over it to give it that look...XD

And I agree NRA, this fits nicely with God of War 2, however I think it's just a coincidence...

Unless March is Gladiator Month or something...O.o

 

I saw the trailer at Apocalypto and it looks awesome.

But I'll be seeing Smokin' Aces first.

It's directed by frank miller, who is one of the most awesome directors/writers ever (see/read sin city if you don't know who he is). This movie will probably friggin cool.

 

Yeah, it's completely animated too.

Well, I will enjoy it very much that's for sure. I'm so glad people still have the vision of a movie like this...sometimes you think all creativity int he world of media is just gone...XD

 

True, which is why you go see Children of Men. Even if it is a book to film movie, it's great.

 

I believe Frank wrote the novel!!!! Trust me, I'm a huge fan o' his.

He is the greatest writer of all time, and sin city Rocked my Socks. Next to Sin City 2, 300 will easily be my favourite franky miller movie to date.

 

The movie is awful!!!!! This thing destroys the greek history! There weren't huge rhynos in ancient Greece! Besides it's not LOFTR where y can have all this weird creatures. It's history!

Fictional.

The novel is fictional. Based on spartan warriors of ancient greece. Frank Miller can do that because he's Frank Miller. Bigger than Chuck Norris.

 

Yeah but gimme a break! Troy has already been a disaster and... oh my god i just saw elephants in the trailer. I mean ok use some fiction but not crazy things!

and the story is not fictional.........its based on the graphic novel which is loosly based on what truely happened to the spartans during the battle of thermopylae >_____>

get your facts right before you go bashing a movie, oh and Zack Snyder is directing the movie, frank miller is the writer of the comic book :)
