More so in the first one then the second one I guess, but to me, considering Chain of Memories, Namine seems more important...
Bestest: Sora, Cloud, Sephiroth, Namine, Xigbar, and Riku! Worstest: Roxas and Axel. Axel was so cool in Chain of Memories but he was like a big ball of yaoi fanservice in KH2. ALSO... Tifa. I like her, but not in KH2.. she's like beating up walls like Cloud's gonna fall out of one? What thecrap? That made no sense.

I played Chain of Memories, I know where it came from, and I'm extremely disappointed that they like just mentioned it and forgot about it. Sora definitely never thanked her. Right?

Riku DOES say "We may never see our parents again" Sora's mom DOES call him "Soraaa Dinner's readyyyyy... Sora??" So there's no doubt that they do have parents, but it's kinda like how you never saw the parents in like cartoons on tv. It's just not a thing. I don't think we'll ever see their parents. Since Sora is always like "Holy crap I miss Riku and Kairi =(" but never anything like "I miss my mooommy." It's kind of obvious that like they're not really interested in exploring it at all. BUT. =D I know the truth. Sephiroth + Aeris = Riku Squall + Rinoa = Sora Dagger + Zidane = Roxas and Namine (There's siblings, it's true!) Selphie + Irvine = Kairi =D It's my firm belief. Squall isn't Leon anyway. Leon is like some mutant that sort of thinks he's Squall. Same with Aeris. And Sephiroth. The Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts is the Sephiroth McDonald's toy.

Kingdom Hearts 2 was such a disappointment to me. It was really easy and point A to point B, and the plot was too dark. It didn't feel like Kingdom Hearts to me at all. Even the disney worlds seemed like they'd grown up somehow. If that makes any sense. Chain of Memories had a neat story, but the gameplay was so reflicted. XD Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game ever. =D *votekthnx*

Sora by far. To me, Roxas seems like.. stoned or something. He constantly has an expression like he's got a headache or something and doesn't know where he is. Too distant. He actually annoyed me, and is probably one of the big reasons I like the first Kingdom Hearts much better then the second. Sora is fun. I think if he wasn't as positive as he was, Kingdom Hearts couldn't really work. How could a character like Roxas be interesting to watch with all the disney characters? ^^
Kairi was like ******ed in the first Kingdom Hearts when she was all like "SORA LETS GO WITHOUT RIKU HYUK HYUK" and that still bothers me. She's adorable, and in the second game she's pretty hot, but frankly she's like.. dumb. Namine, on the other hand, I don't know why anyone wouldn't like her. She's cute and really hip. She's, I guess, in a way.. to the point. And actually kinda mysterious! Uh, I think she's adorable, but that's just me. I think some girls are so fangirly over Roxas and Sora that they hate Namine and Kairi just because they have a chance with them. =/ (Or have a chance of taking them away from they're yaoi luvs lolol) But, That's my opinion.
All three are great characters. BUUT I picked Sora because I'm unoriginal that way.
