Vincent Valentine of course. ^_^ I heard somewhere that Nomura had wanted to put him in somewhere. For some reason I kind of want to see Cid or Larsa from FFXII in there.

I think it's been said somewhere that anyone with a strong heart can wield a keyblade. Sora: was not originally intended for the keyblade, but received it when he resisted the darkness. Riku: lost the keyblade when he gave in to darkness, but still had a strong heart, and eventually received his own. Mickey: got his in the Realm of Darkness. I guess Kairi had a strong enough heart.

Uh... Did you miss that part at the end of Kingdom Hearts where he takes out two Darksides each in one hit? Of course he's strong. And he jumps really high - almost high enough to jump over Xaldin's dragon's wind beam thing.

Wow, some really long posts since I was last here. ^_^' This is still going on? I like how there's a whole argument about Demyx. Kinda like:

Demyx death was the defining moment.

I'm sorry I had to just laugh at that. Demyx wasn't at all important to the Org, I agree with Repliku on that. The rest of the nobodies probably looked on him with some measure of contempt. Maybe the Org started really doing things after Demyx's fight because it happens right before the ummm... BATTLE OF HOLLOW BASTION? I'm sorry, I just find it a little hard to believe you didn't notice that. Demyx was an.. unfortunate idiot. At least when it came to that last fight. (Although really, can you imagine him going renegade like Axel?)

What was with the whole deal with Riku? You were talking about him like he was a vampire or something. He didn't go back to the Destiny Islands because he felt guilty and hadn't forgiven himself for what he had done. I doubt it had anything to do with him not being able to handle sunshine. XD But if he is a vampire, that would explain the weird hair and the lack of a tan on a tropical island. lmao

It's true that not all the nobodies were evil and deserved to die, but sometimes sad things happen. Sora was an idiot and sometimes a jerk, true. But he's not the villain here.

    InkHeart

I loved Inkheart. It was so original! I wondered what would happen if they tried read a book about people who could read people out books? ^_^
I really liked Inkspell too. There was a lot of stuff, but it was all great for me.

    Twilight

When I first read Twilight I really liked it. But by the time I got around to reading New Moon, I wasn't as much into it. Personally I had always liked In the Forests of the Night a lot better. But when I read it over again, I realized something - I didn't like it. I was like trying to read Eragon all over again. Actually, let's not compare the two. Eragon is an atrocity that Twilight does not deserve to be compared to. But the characters are complete Mary Sues. The only characters I really liked were Alice and that human bloodsucker what's-his-name. I think it starts with a V or something. And Bella shortsighted (in the sense of the future) to a point that she seems stupid. I guess she just really annoys me. The way Bella and Edward "fell in love" too. I just don't buy it.

Although I really don't like Sora, I have to say he was completely justified. While somebody else might have been more successful in talking some of the Nobodies out what the were doing (I think Kairi might have for some reason), you've got to give the kid credit for trying. It's true that some of the Nobodies were only doing what they did because they didn't want to go against the Org. I guess them not having hearts, Organization XIII was a place that they... sort of?....belonged. It's kind of strange. Usually that's the kind of reason someone with feelings would have...
Sora was really harsh with Demyx though. Even when he stole that stone, you could tell that he really didn't want to. To me, he seemed like he would have been persuaded rather easily, as opposed to Xaldin and Xemnas. But Sora acted really cold (Donald didn't help much either), I think he may have made Demyx a bit angry. (Don't say anything about Nobodies not being able to be angry - look at Vexen, Larxene, and Axel. Especially Vexen. That guy had a temper.)

Ummm... I don't know how much attention you were paying in KH1... That keyblade was made from the hearts of the six princesses. When Sora stabbed himself with it, he released the hearts and the keyblade stopped existing. Remember?

I really think they should have saved the sarcasm for Donald's character development... Seeing as there was none, they would have done well with that. -_-

Guard and dodge roll are your friends. :D Use them. Guard is really good for interrupting Cloud's attacks, especially that sonic blade of his. While you shouldn't worry as much about Leon, don't ignore him. It's best to dodge roll away from his attacks. I don't know, I always found Leon's sword harder to guard against as far as timing goes. Don't bother with any special moves, unless it's strike raid. If anything, strike raid will at least grant you immunity to damage while you're doing it. But try not to. I always pick off Leon once Cloud is dead.

Seeing as no one in KH, including those with hearts, never even seem to get their clothes torn when cut by something, the fact that we've never seen blood coming out of nobodies means nothing.
Personally, I think this "heart" they talk about is not quite literal, not quite metaphorical. It's intangible but existent. It's the center where emotions come from. Heartless are drawn towards those emotions, and being purely instinctive, mistake the heart as the feelings themselves, and steal it. Taking it away is like taking away a part of a person's personality. It makes them incomplete, but they still live. Their actual physical heart stays intact. (Despite that rather gross depiction in the KH manga when Sora first arrives in Traverse Town and a heartless steals that hooker's heart...) After all, the nobodies still eat and breathe and stuff. Although their bodies are more malleable than a regular human beings... (that's why they can fade away)

Riku, hands down. That boy has had to go through some stuff that most adults would never go through! He started out as slightly jealous and easily led by those who know how to do that (i.e. Maleficent) and a little bit arrogant; then he became afraid of himself, 'cause of all the darkness and stuff; and then he finally decided to accept that part of himself, because he knew it wasn't really that evil. In the end, he turned out to become a really decent kind of guy. He seems a bit smarter than Ansem the Wise anyway. *rolls eyes* Any girl that ends up with him would be very lucky.

Kairi may have grown a little bit, although I didn't get to see much of that. (Her always being kidnapped and whatnot.) Personally I kinda liked her better in the first game. Behind that kind of giggly, annoying exterior (which is what I saw until about Hollow Bastion), there was a stubborn, forceful personality. Although it was only half-formed, and only began to show after she woke up and Sora became a Heartless, I liked that about her. But she got kind of mellow during KH2. More passive really. And a LOT girlier. I get the idea that the old Kairi would've at least made a joking remark about her Keyblade being so frilly. And I do NOT want to think about Kairi's sad excuse for trying to escape from Axel in Twilight Town. Seriously girl, if you don't want to go with him, do something! Bite him or something.

Sora.... Well, nothing happened there. He may have grown physically, but nothing much grew in his head. True, he spent a year completely out of it, but apparently, he also managed to forget his manners in that span of time. Personally, I liked him better when he had the puppy eyes. Now his eyes look kinda....beady. And he was sometimes a real ***. At least in the KH1, the naive little remarks he made were in a way cute, and forgiveable.

I get the idea that the XIV member will be a new person. Maybe she has an ability rather than an element that makes her useful to the Organization...say, I don't know, clairvoyence. >_< Maybe she ends up betraying the Org in some way too, and that's why she's not around anymore. Perhaps her betrayal was vital in moving the plot in the next games without us knowing it.

I still think it would be really awesome if her element were metal (Toph from Avatar comes to mind). Her weapon could be... a jar of EXPLOSIVE PICKLES. MUAHAHA. JK

She could have a mace... or maybe dual swords or sais or something. Maybe yoyos.

0_0...... Okay, some of you guys are going to much into this. Repliku, really awesome answer. I totally agree with all of that

As forthe rest, we're not really contemplating Sora and Riku switching roles; just if Riku hadn't turned to the darkness. And also, didn't someone say in some interview that Riku was the real intended keyblade master. It went to Sora when Riku turned to darkness.

Now if Riku had ended up with the keyblade, I get the idea that he'd be more dedicated in trying to restore his world and finding Kairi that Sora was. Half the time during KH1, you could almost forget that Sora was doing anything other than sealing keyholes. For some reason, I get the feeling it would be different with Riku.

I always thought that, hypothetically speaking, it just might be possible for Riku to have a Nobody. The whole thing with his - mind? - being sent to the Dark Realm was a little iffy. But even if Nomura hadn't said so himself, it would be too much to have Riku have his own Nobody. It's a bit.. fanficish, if that makes any sense. As for Axel... no. Just no. Perhaps he parallels Riku, being Roxas' friend, but they do not have any further connection.

I don't know about Nobodies not aging at all. Between the ages of 20 and 30, I've often noticed that there is no substantial difference in a person's looks. And in the cutscene where we see Xehanort, he does seem a bit younger than Xemnas. Not even really physically, but he seems to have a younger air about him. Plus his voice isn't as deep as Xemnas'. But I'm not sure about this. Just a couple of thoughts.

I don't really have anything against AkuRoku, 'cause sometimes it can be cute. As long as it doesn't get... inappropriate. But I always thought that Axel thought of Roxas as his little brother or something.

That was wonderful! I especially loved your poem at the beginning. The whole thing with Demyx was heart-wrenching. I would have loved if you had gone into more detail about the year in which she was restoring Sora's memories, in a short kind of summary.

As for any faults, I have to say the only one was that the story was a bit too verbose. I think they call it purple prose. Often (but not always) happens with amateur writers. They try to put in lots of adjectives and end up overcompensating. Which you do NOT need to do, because your story is very beautiful, and it would work well even if you used synonyms rarely. Sure, you can go for poetic descriptions, but many times, if it can be said in a shorter way, that way's is fine.

I'll give you a couple of examples. "The sound of unmarred skin hitting the floor rang through the air like fresh pounds of flesh being thrown against the butcher's counter." To be honest, this passage kind of.... scared me. 0_0 I couldn't help picturing a slaughterhouse. maybe all that stuff about... fresh flesh. But I think sound is the wrong sense to focus on. Since the paragraph before was focusing on feel, maybe you should stick with that.

"He spoke quietly like a piece of dark glass viewing the night sky". It's kind of confusing and just.. what? First, how can someone speak like a piece of glass? A piece of glass viewing the sky I kind of get, if you mean in the sense of maybe a mirror or telescope, but again, how would one sound like that?

There are more of those kinds of things in there, but with a bit of fixing up, this story would be just phenomenal. Just remember, lay off the adjectives! ^_^ Those tricky things can make or break a story.

Man, I feel you. Like Mercutio. Mercutio was the best character in the whole god-damned play! Shakespeare just had to kill him off. The cool people are always minor characters, while the main characters are usually not nearly up to par. Riku is the only exception.

    1)Larxene/Demyx

Opposites do attract. And these two couldn't be more opposite. I always imagine Demyx having this kind of insane power over Larxene. I may me of cookies, but Demyx is the dominant one in the relationship.

    2)Sora/Kairi

I'm not nuts about it. I downright hated Kairi for a large portion the first KH, until the scene when she tried to catch Sora as he's falling. (Such a sad scene. ;_;) Then I suddenly liked her a whole lot better. But she was very iritating in KH2. Can't really pinpoint why. But whatever. They love each other and all that. Maybe if I saw a kiss in there it would have made me feel better.

    3) Xemnas/Saix

    Dunno, just fits.

    4) Riku/Roxas

I'm not into Sora/Riku, but for some reason this isn't a problem to imagine. I know Roxas is kinda Sora, but not really. Meh.

    5) Axel/Roxas

Wow, like this hasn't been done before. *rolls eyes* But it's very true, it's practically canon. And nothing like "OMG, THEY LOOK TOTALLY HAWT TOGETHER!!!11!" You can tell that Axel really cares about Roxas.

    6) Riku Replica/Namine

Come now. Repliku was like Namine's knight in... really weird tights.

    7) Jafar..., and MALEFICENT! :K

So obvious they were digging each other. They're both evil, got sweeping cloak-thingies, staves, spiffy headpieces, and a creepy laugh.

    8) Sephiroth and Yuffie

Just imagining it makes me want to laugh.
