Just joking about the PS5 :p
But to be sincere, I'm actually tired of SquareEnix re-re-releasing the same games over and over...
In my opinion, they do this just to buy time, and that ends up delaying the big games... I remember Nomura saying that they have an agreement with Square Enix, that he had to release one KH game every year... That undoubtly delays the big games, IMO. I mean, it's been 11 years since KH II...
They are in an infinite spiral of remaking what has already been remade...

Awww c'mon! Square Enix is playing with us... Another remake/remaster? Of a game that has been released only 3 years ago? I know lot of you are exited about this, but I'm really pissed off... For the last 3 years we've only received remasters... I started counting, and half of the KH titles are remasters or something like that... Seven original games (KH, CoM, KH II, 358/2, BBS, Coded, DDD) and eight remasters/whatever (KH FM, KH II FM, Re:CoM, BBS FM, Re:Coded, KH 1.5, KH 2.5 and now KH 2.8...)...
Maybe I wouldn't mind a remaster of the series after KH III, but right now everyone wants the final chapter... I feel like they are playing with us (and with our money)...

I'm sorry, this time I can't join (at least for now...) but I wish this ends in something great like with the artbook ;)

I agree with everything except that the island where Sora and friends play, and the island with the village, it's the same world. All those are the Destiny Islands, not different worlds :P

Haha well, you've a point there :p It's true that Sora never mind about his family, but there's one thing you're missing:
In KH I, the Destiny Islands are destroyed, so we can assume that everyone who has survived that (and ended in another worlds) was worried about everyone. I mean, it wasn't only Sora, but the sons and daughters of every father in the islands.
At the end of the first game, when all the worlds are safe and complete again, no one on the islands remembers Sora or Riku (this is explained in KH II) even their parents.
And when Sora and Riku finally returns, well, we suppose that their family remember them again (Do they remember not seeing his son for like two years? That's a good question...).
So the only "problem" here is why Sora doesn't care about his family.
And about the orphan thing... that's something that has been seen in lot of movies or stories, so maybe the parent's idea is something new... but that's just my opinion
Finally, seeing them living on the islands, that would be something pretty interesting... But not knowing too much, opens the door to imagination.
I've tried to picture a lot how his life was on the Islands after playing the first game, and the more we discover on the upcoming games, it becomes a more "normal" village (maybe contrary to my expectations of a place with a different culture, but I've never been dissapointed)
Sorry if my english it's a little bit messy, it's not my first language

I ask this myself a lot actually! and I agree with the ones who say that most of Disney worlds are subplots disconnected from the main story... if you think about it, you could replace every Disney world with an original one, with a story that fits the KH main plot, and the game would still be there. In some games, I try to pass the Disney world the fastest I can, to get back to the KH plot, thinking that Donald, Goofy and Mickey are the only ones who fits in the story...
BUT if we take the Disney thing off, would it be the same game? I don't think so... The Disney atmosphere has gotten into everything, in the characters attitudes, in some story plot elements, even in dark worlds (when I first saw Hollow Bastion's castle, I though it was from some Disney movie I haven't seen). The different look of every world because it imitates the movie is something I like a lot too (and a lot more if Sora's appearence changes with it)
And one last thing: I think is the Disney worlds (and FF characters too!) that made this game unique. A lot of us have seen Disney movies when kids, some of them left a mark on us (Mufassa's death, for example), and to be able to revive a lot of moments from our childhoods, in a way a little bit more mature, is something no other game can imitate.

You might be right about that Krowley. Even I am not sure about all this, so it's just a theory.
But if we think about Zexion as one of the most misterious plots, I think the Lexicon might be part of the explanation, of how he acted so strange...

You HAVE TO make the script for the next KH game. That would be really funny xD

Well, first of all, this is just a theory I have, so it could mean nothing... And on top of it, I haven't played DDD, so I could be not knowing some important information)
The theory begins with this: In KH χ [chi], there's this story (I saw it posted by . : tale_wind, so thank you)

    "Chirithy:

Before my master, He who created me, disappeared,
He bestowed His six followers with new names, and gave five of them a tome of prophecy.
These five followers, who were to become the Foretellers, read the future written in the tome.
Apparently a passage written on the last page shocked them.
"The war in that place will lead to the defeat and destruction of the Light. The World will be enveloped in eternal Darkness."
In order to save the future World, the five Foretellers thought to use the power hidden in the tome of prophecy."

So there are these books with prophecies... why are there 5 books, if there are 6 followers? Could it be that a sixth book exist?
And here is where Lexicon comes in: This misterious book has a "VI" written in it. I know, Zexion is the sixth member of the organization, so that it's a logical explanation... but can we think that this is one of those books? The "last page" with the misterious message? Maybe they tried to destroy it, or hide it...
And we could clearly say that Zexion "use the power in the tome"...
I know, I´m supposing lot of things... but, what are the possibilities that the Lexicon is something really important?
Nomura didn't mention Zexion's weapon until RE:CoM and KH 358/2. And in this interview, he talks about it:

"I have an idea on what his weapon is and I might have a chance of showing it in the near future so I’ll keep it as a secret for now. [...] in the World that Never Was, each XIII Organization member had a gravestone for them and each of those have a picture of their weapons and that’s when Zexion became a problem for us. “Eh, we’re gonna put a spoiler on Zexion’s weapon there!?” That’s a bit too much so we decided to destroy the gravestone so that his weapon couldn’t be seen."

Ok, as I said, I might be flying too high xD But what if Zexion is more important than what we think? In Secret Ansem Report 2, says he is the one who spurred Ansem to construct the massive laboratory... and in the KHII:FM scenes, he seems to know more than anyone else...

Feel free to say what you think, I'm not gonna get mad if no one thinks like me :P
