I thought I'd missed this! Woo~
My song choice is Module - Reflections Scatter
I wanted to have this video for User Awards, but alas, it took too long! Song by The Ambience Affair - download...
I am in! Haven't chosen song yet, gimme a day or so!
Well I'm down for it!
Found it, here's how he put all the shots together.
It's a fanmade trailer, incredibly. I think he has another video going in to some of the effects he used to create it.
The 10th video in the HD Clips for 358/2 Days (Day 298 - Day 321) is .AVI for both links rather than .MP4, help please?
"This is Otis, I love Otis!"
Robert Sean Leonard in his Baby form is so good in this film, same with Ethan Hawke. The final scene of A Midsummer's Nights Dream with Neil's father watching and the ensuing fallout is so powerful and still is sadly true for a lot of those who bend towards the performing arts (which is seen as below other academic pursuits). Classic film.

Nope. And this comic sums up perfectly how I feel about Atlantica in KH2: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=193
The problem I have with KHII's Hollow Bastion also sums up the issue I have with KHII in general - the removal of the platforming aspect of the game. The puzzles of the lift system, the Dalmatians, Trinity Marks, Mushrooms - it was a challenge to figure things out, and felt rewarding when you did. With KH2, all that was taken out (the mushrooms were sort of brought back for FM+, but that is small comfort for most people) - and Hollow Bastion became just a plain old world, laid out with no challenge at all. The maps were both a blessing and a curse in my opinion, in that it did solve some navigation issues the first game had, but also on the flipside it took away from the challenge of the game.
Not a problem! I think it's a shame only a few select videos from certain users are getting comments and the rest are out in the cold, so I'm...
That trailer. Sweet Jesus, I'm going to have to buy a PS4.
Marriage is a contract. Depending on where you live, the wedding ceremony isn't legally binding, the marriage certificates you sign either during the ceremony or at the Marriage Licence Office is - This is true for most western countries, if not all. It's a contract between the two people, which is then recognised by the state, who then gives certain benefits (Tax breaks for couples, family credits, etc etc). That's why a divorce is a big deal and is dealt with by the courts - because they are breaking a contract. In an unrelated note, the fact that as far as the state is concerned a marriage boils down to a contract that two people sign, that the state then recognises and gives certain benefits to the couple, is one of the (many) reasons I support marriage equality. In states/countries (which are supposed to be separated from the church) where marriage equality is not recognised they are essentially saying they won't accept a contract signed by two men or two women - which is legally ridiculous (and breaches most countries Bill of Rights to not discriminate based on gender).
Good work! I think things you should look at are your transitions, which are a little cheesy at the moment. The basics - Fade to Black/White, straight cut, and cross-dissolve are standards for a reason - they look professional and are smooth. Also, try and get a consistent size with your clips, which is easier said than done when getting things from the net, but it'll make the video look more cohesive and better put together. An easy way to do this is to get your clips from one source, rather than picking this clip from KHV and the next from KH13 or KHU. The only other thing is you are timing your transitions to the vocals rather than the music behind it, which means you are missing great opportunities for synching - look at the transition at the 1 minute mark, it would've had a much bigger impact if that KH2 clip came in on a hard straight cut at around 0:58. The snare drum is your best friend in AMVs. Hope that helps!
So I made this AMV, essentially my first (The last vid I made was about 6 years ago, with WMM). I sent it in to the Top 5 mainly for a bit of CnC - but alas, it is the week they've decided not to do details! So if there is anyone out there who could give me some criticism that'd be great. Video is below, or on KHV here: www.kh-vids.net/media/the-pieces-fit.446/
Woohoo! Made it to #1 of the Top 5 Vids of the Week with The Pieces Fit. Smashing!
I am very old guard when it comes to KH media, I was a fellow fansite webmaster with him and used to chat with him on AOL (so yes, very seriously...
