I would say CGI, like Advent Children or the opening/endings of the games, one that details the series as best it can. That or an animated movie that details Mickeys adventures as Yen Sid's apprentice, and how he got to be a keyblade wielder in the first place. Since that was never explained, and he didn't seem to wield one yet when he was a musketeer or fooling around with Yen Sid's hat.
Yeah, I have been using the Patch Browser in the emulator in order to use the cheat codes. Thanks for mentioning EmuHaste, I will have to look into it. :) Edit: Downloaded and tried it, does the same thing as the Patch Browser. Emulator crashes. I am about to rip my hair out with this. lol
It's running perfectly without any cheats. And I was successful in making some cheats work for Re: Chain of Memories (U). I am just kind of frustrated I can't get any to work for KH2 or KH2 FM+
Quick question. I don't want to shift through 300+ pages to see if it was answered. I have tested many of the codes on the front page in pcsx2. However the emulator always seems to crash on me. Is there something that needs to be changed in the codes to make them work with it? I am using a legit original copy of the KH2 FM disc. Emulator is only being used because I recently moved and have not unburied the PS2 yet.
Thanks for the new skin, I've been meaning to ask about one that would take less of a toll on my eyes. Looks the same as my DSi. ^_^
In his GBATemp topic, he said it was a mini-translation (Read: Menus only, no story). So no, he never lied. If you want to be able to read the story, hack it yourself and translate it, or wait for an official English release.
Um, Yeah you can:
Well, there is normally never a program. At least not until people decypher tons of code, figure out files and their formats. Once all that is figured out all it takes is some people with C++ knowledge, and the hacking information to make a program for the specific purpose of hacking. It's possible for this game to be modified and the same goes for the PS2 games, it's just the fact that nobody has really taken the time to sit down and do the work. Look at the Sonic the Hedgehog hacking community, They have the source for the original two games ripped apart and mostly documented. They also have multiple programs for different purposes: Level editing, sprite editing, music editing... yeah.
Using the name of the file 00.z is: 00 = Xemnas sitting --- I think we should have a separate Topic for hacking, maybe even a separate part of the forums for hacking... Or is it just me?
You mean how did we figure out what the files were? We did trial and error by swapping files with the Roxas player model.
Anti Sora/Sora969 and I went through the files in NDS_UNPACK\data\mi\ch And made a list of all the files, based on what we could find: Spoiler
Wp.b.z and w_.p2 should be a character's weapon files.
For some folders, it is def_hb.p.z for some it is def_h.p.z. Not sure about Mickey's or Sora's.
Makes you Marluxia with Vexen's shield, no matter who you choose in mission mode.
I was correct, it IS the shadow under a player's feet.
It's a model file for something, given the name... It might be the shadow under a player's feet. I'll look in a bit. Edit: I looked, and there is no model or even a texture, however it is in the format that most DS games use for 3D models...
I hope some data from that world still exist. It would be fun something that could have been. Damn Nintendo Power and their claim that the World for Pinnochio would be in the game. :yelling:
Yeah... I figured it wouldn't be simple. I tested that earlier, his attacking worked fine. However, trying to jump froze the ROM. --- In other news, did anyone see the Mini-translation project at GBAtemp?
Hopefully someone could help shed some light on how to uncompress or compress the files using this format...
Nope, doesn't help me...
