Originally written on May 13, 2012 -:- Aqua was reading the book in her hand with rapt attention as her other hand rubbed circles over her large belly. She smiled as she felt the life within her kick. 'Just like your father. You have so much energy,' she thought. Suddenly, she heard the back door of the house open and the voice of her husband calling out. "Aqua! I'm back from training!" The Soldier walked into the living room, placing his sword against the wall, and then sat on the couch next to Aqua. He brought his wife into a one-armed hug and planted a kiss on her cheek. "You look beat. Did Sora give you a run for your money?" questioned Aqua, a smirk upon her lips. Zack let out a few chuckles. "Most definitely. I knew he was good, what with saving the universe multiple times and all, but I didn't think he was that good. He hits hard with that Keyblade of his!" Aqua giggled as Zack rubbed his sore shoulder. "Poor little puppy." "I really shouldn't have told you about that nickname," said the raven-haired man with a pout. "Enough about me though. How are you and the little one doing today?" The blue-haired woman smiled as Zack placed his ear on her belly, trying to listen to whatever the baby was doing. He did this almost every single day for the past nine months. "We're doing fine, Zack. The baby is very healthy, too." "That's good to hear," replied Zack with a grin. He then looked up at Aqua. "By the way, have you come up with any names yet?" "I'm still trying to think of one for if the baby is a girl, but I do have an idea for if the baby is a boy." "Yeah? What would that be?" asked Zack, his eyes filled with curiosity. "Well, I though we could name the baby Angeal if it was a boy. I know how much you respect him and figured this would be a good way to honor his memory." Zack stared at Aqua with wide-eyed admiration, as she was willing to name their son after the man who raised him and taught him everything. He thought to himself that he was very lucky to have her as his wife. With a small laugh, he replied. "I really appreciate that, Aqua. To tell you the truth though, I was thinking of naming our son Eraqus. I know how much you miss him and I thought you'd like it." Aqua smiled and then brought Zack close so she could plant a kiss to his lips. When they released for air, she leaned her forehead against his. "You are quite possibly the most caring and unselfish man I have ever met. How did I get so lucky?" "I think we were both lucky to have met each other," replied Zack as he wrapped his arm around her now wider hips and pulled her closer to him. The mage nodded her head in agreement. "There is just one problem with the names though?" Zack looked at her with confusion. "What would that be?" "We'd have to pick one of them." "...How about we flip a coin?" She playfully slapped his arm. "We're not flipping a coin to determine our baby's name!" Zack could only grin at the sound of her giggles. "Okay, okay! How about we name the baby, if it's a boy, Angeal Eraqus Fair? That way both names will be used!" "Hmm, why not Eraqus Angeal Fair?" "That was actually my first choice, but doesn't really roll of the tongue like Angeal Eraqus does." Aqua sounded both names off and determined that Zack was right. "Okay then. If we have a boy, we can call him Angeal Eraqus Fair." With a grin, Zack brought Aqua into his arms and held her close. The two couldn't wait until their baby arrived. -:- The following week, Aqua went into labor and was rushed to the hospital. Despite his cool and easy-going attitude, Zack was a nervous wreck and fainted dead cold when he learned that Aqua gave birth to twin boys. This was a surprise as both parents had thought there was supposed to be one baby, but both Zack and Aqua were just as happy that they had two. The eldest baby boy, by two minutes, had jet-black hair and Zack's eyes. This was Angeal Fair. The youngest baby boy had dark blue hair and Aqua's eyes. This was Eraqus Fair. Aqua smiled lovingly at her two children as she held them in her arms. From the side, she could see Zack walking up to the hospital bed se he could get a better look at his sons. He must have just come to. "They're so tiny," stated Zack as he sat at the edge of bed and wrapped an arm around Aqua's hips. "They are newborns, Zack. Do want to hold one of them?" Zack's eyes widened at that. He was nervous that he might drop the baby, but accepted when Aqua placed little Eraqus in his arms. He couldn't help the smile on his face when the baby let out a tiny yawn. "I can't believe we're parents now." "Neither can I, but I wouldn't trade this feeling in for anything," said Aqua, placing a small kiss on Angeal's forehead and then reaching over to do the same to Eraqus. It was then that the nurse came in and said that it was feeding time and that she had to show Aqua how to breastfeed. Zack's face became as red as a Red Nocturne from hearing that. Aqua had to hold in her giggles when Zack placed Eraqus back in her arms and stagger out of the room. She found his embarrassment funny since it was not as if he had never seen her breasts before. Life was going to be much more interesting and different from this point on, but as Aqua said earlier, she wouldn't trade this in for anything. FIN
Originally written on December 13, 2011 -:- Tears filled the eyes of the little blue-haired girl as she wrung the rim of her light blue sundress her hands. She knew better than to walk away from her daddy's side, but she saw something shiny at one of the merchant stalls and wanted to see what it was. Now she had no idea where her daddy was. She was walking through the crowd, hoping to find him, but since she was only five, she kept getting pushed around by the other people since she was so small. Pushing her way through, she was able to escape the crowd, only to bump into someone and fall to the ground. Looking over to see whom she bumped into, she saw that it was a young boy about her age. He had spiky black hair and bright blue eyes. He was also wearing a black t-shirt and blue shorts. "Ne, why'd you bump into me?" asked the little boy, a confused look on his face. "I d-didn't m-mean t-to," stuttered the girl, looking as if she was about to cry. "I w-was just looking f-for my d-daddy." "Your daddy? Is he lost?" "I d-don't know. I c-can't find him!" "Don't worry! I bet we can find him! What's your name anyway?" "A-Aqua." "Hehehe, that's a pretty name, Aqua-chan! Come on, I know who can help us find your daddy!" The boy grabbed hold of Aqua's tiny hand, making the girl's cheeks turn pink, and started dragging her behind him as he ran of. The boy led her to a tall, muscular man with slicked back black hair, except for two bangs of hair that hung on each side of his face. He reminded Aqua of her daddy as this man looked very serious. "Angeal! We need your help!" shouted the boy. "What did you do now, Puppy?" questioned the man, turning to the boy. He was a little surprised, though didn't show, when he noticed the little blue-haired girl practically hiding behind his ward. "Angeal, I though I told you that I'm not a puppy!" whined the boy with a pout. This made Aqua giggle a bit. "Whatever you say, Puppy," replied Angeal with a smirk. He then glanced at Aqua. "Who is this?" "This is Aqua-chan! She needs help finding her daddy!" Angeal turned to Aqua. "Really now? What does he look like, little one?" "Ano, he has b-black hair t-tied in a spiky p-ponytail and has hair above and below his m-mouth. He also w-wears a white c-coat with a r-red trim," explained the shy girl. Angeal raised an eyebrow at her description. Most five-year-olds wouldn't have been able to give that type of description. He knew his "puppy" wouldn't have been able to. This girl was smart for age. "I see. Alright then, let's go and find your father. The two of you stay close to me, understood?" Receiving nods from the two children, he led them through the market in search for Aqua's father. The search didn't last long as they heard a man, who looked like a samurai, calling out for Aqua. "Aqua! Aqua, where are you?!" "Daddy!" cried Aqua as she ran towards the man. "Aqua! Thank goodness you're safe," said the man as relief filled him and he scooped the little girl into his arms. He looked up to see Angeal and his "puppy" walking towards them. "Thank you for finding my little Aqua." "If anyone needs thanking, it's the little puppy here," stated Angeal, pointing the pouting boy. "Angeal!" Aqua giggled at the boy. She thought he looked cute when he pouted. "Either way, if there's anything I could do to repay you..." "Nonsense. We require no payment whatsoever. We just couldn't leave her to fend for herself," said Angeal. He then pointed to his ward. "In fact, despite the trouble this one causes me, I'd probably be scared out of mind if he ended up missing, so I can understand how you feel." "I see. I thank you again. Come, Aqua, we should be heading home now." "Wait, Daddy!" Aqua squirmed out of her daddy's arms and then ran over to the boy, planting a small kiss on his cheek, surprising him. Both of the men were surprised by this. 'What the?!' was the thought on both men's minds. "Thank you for helping find my daddy. Bye, Puppy-kun!" With that, Aqua ran back to her daddy and the two left for home. Once they were gone, the boy's mouth became a grin and he turned to Angeal. "I think I like her, Angeal." Angeal closed his eyes and let out a lengthy exhale out of his nose. 'Only five-years-old and Zack already has a possible girlfriend. Why do I feel so old all of a sudden?' FIN
Originally written on April 7, 2010 -:- "Ven, why are we here again?" asked a tall browned-haired man. He wore tan Samurai-style pants and a dark brown muscle shirt. "How many times do I have to tell you, Terra? We are here in Olympus Coliseum because there's going to be a tournament," explained a sandy blond teen. He wore an outfit that was a mix of white, black, and bits of red. "I figured the three of us could enter. What do you think, Aqua?" The third member of the little group was a young woman with short metallic blue hair. She wore a black and blue corset that had no back, white sleeves that started from above her elbow and ended a little below the wrist, black skin tight shorts that were covered from behind by a blue skirt-like clothe, black stockings, and knight-like shoes. "What was that, Ventus?" "Ano, I asked if you wanted to enter the tournament," repeated Ven. "You okay, Aqua? It looked like you were spacing out." "Ven has a point, Aqua. When he first mentioned coming here, you became tense. Did something happen to you the last time you were here?" asked Terra. Before she could answer, a young man about her age interrupted Aqua. He had black spiky hair and his clothing was a similar style as the residents of the world around them. "Hey guys! I'm guessing you guys heard about the tournament, huh?" "You'd be right, Zack! Watch out though 'cause I'm going to win!" declared Ven. "Whose your partner?" asked Zack. "Huh?" was Ven's response. Terra raised an eyebrow and Aqua looked anywhere but Zack. "Didn't you know? This tournament consists of two-on-two matches," laughed the swordsman. Upon hearing this, Ven's excitement deflated a little, Terra's eyebrow raised a little further in question, and Aqua's mind shut down for a few seconds. Terra was the first to take action as he headed further inside the Coliseum. "Where you going, Terra?" asked Ven. "To sign up," came the curt reply. "Then who's your partner?" asked Zack. "Ven will be my partner." Ven just grinned and followed after his friend, leaving Aqua alone with Zack. "So I guess that means we get to team up, right Aqua?" smiled Zack. "I guess..." "Alright then! Let's go sign up and get some training in before hand," declared Zack, grabbing hold of Aqua's hand and pulling her towards the sign up. He didn't notice the faint blush Aqua was giving off. 'D-Damn it! Ever since Zack asked me out on a date I couldn't stop thinking about him. But why?!' thought Aqua, trying to keep up with Zack. -:- After signing up, Terra and Ven went off on their own to train while Zack and Aqua stayed behind for their own training session. "You know, we could actually make a great team, Aqua!" exclaimed Zack as he was doing his squatting exercises. "How so?" "Well, with my physical strength I can perform close range combat and with your magical skills, you can perform long range combat. Combining that, our opponents won't be able dodge if they're attacked from both ends," explained Zack. "I never thought of it like that. You make an excellent point, Zack-kun," smiled Aqua. Zack suddenly stopped his exercise in surprise. He looked at Aqua with a raised eyebrow, which she returned with a look of confusion. He then gained a sly grin and leaned in closer to Aqua's face, causing her to blush a little. "'Zack-kun'?" "W-What?" "You just called me 'Zack-kun', Aqua," said Zack, still grinning. Aqua's blush became a little deeper. "Is there something you're not telling me?" "N-No!" squeaked Aqua. "There's nothing to tell, Zack-kun...I mean, Zack!" "How 'bout this? After the tournament, regardless of whether we win or lose, I take you out on that date I promised you. What do you say, Aqua?" asked the warrior, still with the sly grin. "I...I..." "Zack! Aqua! Come on! The tournament is about to start!" called Ven as he and Terra made their way over. "You ready, Aqua?" asked Zack, turning to face the magic user. "Hai!" replied Aqua, glad for the distraction. Grinning once again, Zack grabbed hold of Aqua's hand and dragged her to the arena for the battles to begin and once again, he missed the blush on her face. Ven and Terra on the other hand, did notice. They looked at each other thinking the same thing. 'When did that happen?' -:- The tournament was pretty easy for the three Keyblade wielders and one Solider. It was soon down to two teams. Terra and Ven versus Zack and Aqua. "Tell me, Zack, will you put up a better challenge this time?" asked Terra, drawing his weapon. "Wait, you fought Terra before?" asked Aqua, looking at her partner. "Twice actually!" grinned Zack, holding up two fingers for emphasis. He then rubbed the back of his head as if he was embarrassed. "Though the second time I was being possessed by Hades." "And he still couldn't beat me. Maybe he'll actually have a chance of beating me now that he'll have a partner." Aqua felt something stirring in her chest. The thought of Zack being possessed by the God of the Underworld and being hurt by her friend didn't sit well with her. 'Zack-kun may be a capable fighter, but I will not let him get hurt by Terra! I will fight by his side and protect him with my life if I have to!' "Ven." "Yeah, Terra?" "I want you to sit this one out." "Nani? But Terra..." Ven stopped his complaining when he got a look from Terra that said 'now'. With no more arguing, a now sulking Ven made his way to the stands. Zack and Aqua looked on in confusion. "So...do you want one of us to sit out too?" asked Zack. "No. I will take the both of you on in a two-on-one match," declared powerhouse of the three Keyblade wielders. "The both of you have never defeated me so I won't need any help in this." "You're confident, aren't you Terra?" asked Aqua sarcastically as her eye twitched. "Confidence is different from common knowledge." Aqua's anger was rising at Terra's attitude. She was about to lash out and attack him, but a hand coming upon her shoulder stopped her in her tracks. She looked behind her to see Zack with a very serious look that looked foreign for him. "You know, Terra, I remember hearing something about those who talk are those who are weak. Why not prove that you can beat us?" questioned Zack. Terra just glared at the Solider and charged forward, making Zack and Aqua separate. Terra was about to go after Aqua first, but Zack intercepted him before he had the chance. As Zack and Terra clashed, Aqua began to cast one of her spells. "Firaga!!" Just before the spell hit, Zack was able to get out of the way in time and Terra was hit in full. When the smoke cleared, Terra looked as if he hadn't taken much damage. "Shadow Dance!!" Terra was put on the defensive when a flurry of Zacks attack at a speed that seemed unreal. The earth-based Keyblade wielder couldn't understand what was gong on. There was no way Zack could have gotten this strong in such a short amount of time. Just then, Zack fell back, confusing Terra. It was then he remembered something. "Ragnarok!!!" It was too late. Terra wasn't able to dodge in time and took the magical attack, causing him to fall to his knees. Before he could stand back up, Zack held his broadsword to his neck. "You should submit, Terra. Its obvious that Aqua and I beat you so don't go and humiliate yourself by continuing." "Tell me. How did you get so strong? How were you able to beat me?!" shouted Terra. "...I got strong by training. I was able to beat to beat you...because I had Aqua," said Zack as he smiled at the girl. Aqua just smiled back with another blush. "So you had teamwork. That still doesn't explain how you were able to fight me as an equal." "That's for me to know and for you to find out!" grinned Zack. -:- The tournament had ended with Zack and Aqua as the winners. Ven kept ragging on Terra about his lost, mainly because of how he lost because of his overconfidence. Right now, Zack and Aqua were sitting next to each other near one of the large golden statues looking up at the stars. "So, Zack-kun, why were you able to fight Terra as an equal?" asked Aqua, turning her head to look at him. Zack just smirked and pulled Aqua into his lap, making the girl let out tiny squeak. "I meant what I said. I was able to beat Terra because of you. He was making you angry and I know you can take care of yourself, hell, you went up against Hades and the Ice Titan by yourself, but I couldn't just stand there and let him insult you like that," explained Zack, wrapping his arms around Aqua's waist. Aqua couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her eyes shimmered with admiration for the man in front of her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and placed her lips over his, surprising him. The surprise didn't last long as he returned the kiss. When they released for air, they continued to look into each other's eyes. "I love you, Zack. Thank you for defending me." "I love you too, Aqua, and you don't have to thank me. I'd defend you and your honor for as long as I live." Aqua just smiled, leaned into Zack's hold, and spent the rest of night watching the stars with her newfound lover. FIN
With 2018 almost here, so will Kingdom Hearts III. As of right now there is not a whole lot of information concerning what Disney-based worlds will be in the game aside from the fact that Hercules is the only returning Disney-based world and the only new worlds that have been revealed so far are ones based off of Tangled, Big Hero 6, and Toy Story. Here, I will be putting down my predictions on what we might get in Kingdom Hearts III and the reasons why they might appear. But first, I want to talk about another KH game that is technically still in development. Kingdom Hearts Union X. For those who don't know, Union X is a mobile KH game that takes place long before Birth By Sleep and tells the story of the Keyblade Wars. Within this game, the Disney-based worlds that you can visit are Dwarf Woodlands, Wonderland, Agrabah, Olympus Coliseum, Beast's Castle, Castle of Dreams, and Enchanted Dominion, but there is also supposed to be an update coming that will add a completely new world that hasn't been in any of the other KH games. As to what this new world is, I predict it will be based on... Moana (2016) - The reason as to why I believe there will be a world based on Moana is this. Within Union X the story more or less revolves around something known as the Book of Prophesies. As the name suggests, the book is able to see into the future and actually draws power from the future to provide the Avatar character with medals based on various characters who have appeared throughout the series. Moana is the only character who hasn't appeared in the KH series to have a medal in Union X. The fact that the Book of Prophesies draws power from the future means that Moana does exist in the KH universe and if that is the case, more than likely the next world to come to Union X would have to be Moana. And if not, then it will definitely appear in KHIII Anyway, back to the original reason for this journal. The worlds I predict that will appear in KHIII. The Jungle Book (1967) - Starting with the one I believe has the most chance. The KH series is no stranger to having cut content. For example, 358/2 Days was originally going to have Prankster's Paradise, the world based on Pinocchio, as a world that Roxas was going to visit. Unfortunately is was cut due to time constraints, but was soon added to Dream Drop Distance. Birth By Sleep was also supposed to get a world that was cut and the world was supposed to be based on The Jungle Book. Seeing as how Prankster's Paradise was able to come back from the cutting room floor, it could stand to reason that The Jungle Book could as well. Pocahontas (1995) - From 1989 to 1999, the Disney Renaissance was an era where the Walt Disney Company was able to produce some of their most successful animated films, most of which had eventually made it into the KH series as worlds that Sora has visited. Of the films from this era, only two have yet to make an appearance in KH; The Rescuers Down Under and Pocahontas. Since it is very unlikely that The Rescuers Down Under will get in KH in any form (despite being part of the Disney Renaissance it was actually the least successful of the films in that era), Pocahontas is really the only one left from this era that would actually fit into the KH series. The Sword and the Stone (1963) - Merlin has been a major supporting character in KH since the very beginning, yet we've never seen anything about his past. Why does he reside in Radiant Garden, despite the fact that he should have his own homeworld? It would be interesting to see Sora and company travel to the world of The Sword and the Stone to help Merlin in some way. Wreck-It Ralph (2012) - One of Disney's most popular movies in recent years. Given the themes of the KH series, the battle between light and darkness, Wreck-It Ralph would actually be perfect for the KH series considering Ralph is a villain who doesn't want to be a villain. Picture if you will, Sora and company arriving in Game Central Station and meeting Ralph, surprised that he's not like other villains that they've faced. Ralph, a villain with no darkness, in a way would be the exact opposite of Riku, a hero who commands darkness. Of course for Wreck-It Ralphto get in KH, most of the video game cameos from the movie would have to be removed. Although, considering Square Enix technically does own them, arcade characters Bub and Bob from Bubble Bobble could make appearances in this world. Hocus Pocus (1993) - Aside from cut content, the KH series has also not been a stranger to having worlds based on live-action Disney movies with the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron. Much like Tron, Hocus Pocus has become a cult classic amongst fans and Disney has even kept in the limelight every year by not only showing it on its various channels around Halloween, but ever since 2015 the Sanderson Sisters have been the main characters of the Magic Kingdom's Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular where the Sanderson Sisters would summon various Disney villains for a Halloween Party. With Hocus Pocus still alive, kicking, and loved after all these years, I could see a world based on it in KH. Gravity Falls (2012) - Quite possibly the most popular cartoon Disney has had since the 90s, it wouldn't be surprising if Gravity Falls became one of the various Disney worlds in KH. While it is technically a cartoon series and not a movie (although the final three episodes are usually shown on TV as if it was a two hour movie), KH has had non-movie characters before. Birth By Sleep gave us Sparky, who originally debuted in Lilo & Stitch the Series. So it wouldn't be uncommon for more non-movie characters to appear in KH and given Gravity Falls popularity and success it should be a shoe-in. Plus, Bill would so want to use the Keyblade to try and open the portal if he couldnt get his hands on The Rift. The Princess and the Frog (2009) - After a string of failures that started with Atlantis: The Lost Empire (with Lilo & Stitch being the only exception), Disney returned to success with The Princess and the Frog, which also was the return to traditional animation that hadn't been used since 2004. Another world that would fit in the KH universe for revolving around common themes of magic, light, and darkness, mostly thanks to characters Tiana and Doctor Facilier. That's pretty much it for my predictions, as I feel these are the ones who have the most chance of possibly getting into KHIII. I didn't want to add any other Pixar-based movies (namely Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles) as we already got Toy Story and I don't know whether or not if that will be the only one we get. I also didn't add anything Star Wars or Marvel as while Disney might own them, they are technically NOT Disney (Disney doesn't even doing anything with the MCU except distribute the movies). And no, Frozen will not be added to this list. The world is bland, the characters are annoying (people only care about Elsa because of her looks and wanting her to have sex with Jack Frost from that one Dreamworks movie!), and "Let it Go" is one of the most repetitive songs to ever exist. Frozen is overrated.
