Wouldn't they have only come alive if they used the hearts in "Kingdom Hearts" (the moon), but dying would only have led them to fade out of existence, ("Silly... Just because you have a next life..." - Axel to Roxas as he is in a damaged state.)
Wow I bet you used Paint or Gimp for that. It was awesome, mostly because it was pretty short. Short...but sweet.
