You know, KH has the most impressive voice casting of any video game Ive ever played. Besides all the original disney voice actors they managed to scrounge up, (we have James Woods) We even have former washed up tween idols doing a good job. Jesse Mcartney IS Roxas. Sora sees dead people, Hayden Pantierre is Kairi, Mandy Moore was Aerith, The best descision they ever made was casting David Boreanaz as Leon in the first game...That's the guy who plays Angel and is in Bones now fyi. on a side note if they ever remake FFVIII me and Demyx make a plea to Mr. Boreanaz. "Angel, come back to us." Cristopher Lee was perfect for DiZ...bigoted, cultured, and snobby. just like Count Dooku and Solomon. But wouldnt it be awesome if they hired even MORE talent to voice Nobodies and other KH original characters? So I made this thread to ask who you would love to voice a nobody (or otherwise) in KH. Well I beat the game in standard mode about a week ago. I'm making progress with the secret reports and mission modes...but what I really want to do is start the game from scratch, keeping all of my stuff in the process. Can you do this? Most RPGs let you but I dont know about this one...I mean it kinda seems like it could be an option because once you beat the game your starting point is always the clock tower in Twilight Town...and yet you can still run around the entire level. Let me know if you know Second thing is what's the best weapon panel combination for Xigbar. I keep trying diffrent weapons but his shots are weak and magic is frustrating for him to use, For god's sake I play better with Donald and Zexion than Xigbar...
It's amazing how fun a game can be but still have so many plotholes and convuluted twists. Ever play Shadow Hearts 2, Sonic Adventure 2, the first Assasin's Creed?, Appollo Justice? then you know what I mean. Here are the questions I want Birth by Sleep to answer. 1: Ansem/Xehanort/Xemnas: You know for a character that was made just so that the final boss of KH 1 wasnt a disney villain, Ansem has come a long way. Remember when he was oompa loompa orange and every other word out of his mouth was darkness? Good times. Bit by bit though, Ansem turned from a one trick pony to someone who had a lot of backstory. His name wasnt his own but stolen, he is the only sentinent heartless to date, his Nobody is the leader of an entire organization, and he may or may not still be alive in Riku's heart. (hey if it worked for Roxas) KH II came out and we learned his real name...Xehanort...we couldnt call him ansem anymore, because if DiZ takes off his magic skin color changing bandages, he likes to be called ansem the wize. Now we have "Master Xehanort" who is definitely not Ansem. WHO THE HELL ARE YOU THEN!!!! What is his name? The Apprentice, Maybe? Fellow KH fans, I ask you, does it drive you nuts when your talking to another fan and talking about this character? It was hard enough when it was Xehanort/Ansem but now thats flown out the window too. So until an official name is given. I shall call him Kal El. For he crashed into Wise Boys yard, who then raised him as a son. And he had superhuman powers to begin with. Plus Xemnas kind of looks like a combination of Lex Luthor and Sephiroth Item 2: Not really much of a question. It's just that in Birth By Sleep the monsters are called Unborns...so does that mean we can see the birth of the first heartless? If so that would be sweet. Item 3: other apprentices. thats gonna be a biggie...we are probably gonna see how they all died. From Kal El to Zexion. Will they act differently than their nobody conterparts? Will they be key figures in the story? Will Kal El and Xemnas do the mirror scene bit from duck soup? Will someone explain why two battle scarred sociopaths like Xigbar and Xaldin were hanging out with a bunch of mad scientists in the first place? Item 4: If its a keyblade war than does that mean there will be other groups besides the ones weve seen? Kinda like the thousand heartless battle but with keyblades? Thatd be nice. Item 5: The heroes. I don't expect a complete answer about the Ven/Roxas thing, theyre probably gonna save that doozy for yet another sequel. But I would like to know what Kal El's connection is to Aqua...and why he talks to her armor as Xemnas. Maybe she's the mastermind? I mean Xemnas does go to the room of SLEEP when he talks to her.
I'm not sure if its just me or the player, but I cant full screen any cutscene when I click watch it now and go the Vid player. Is there anything to do about this? Because when you try to watch them on Youtube they lose all their quaility.
(The idea for this came after the "Find Xaldin" mission in 358 days. A Xigbar story, and takes place sometime after the aforementioned mission. It will go on for at least XII chapters. 1 for every member) Chapter 1: Saix doesnt watch Dirty HarryXigbar was never one to complain about anything. He didnt complain about his ranking in the organization, he didnt complain when half of their number had been wiped out and not one person other than himself found it suspicious, he didnt even complain when he found out that Xemnas, their leader and his former trusted teacher, had in all probability went Nucking Futs. The reason for this was because as the Freeshooter he had gone to many worlds, fought many battles, and because of his job as recruiter had met a lot of interesting people. But the real reason was that his job kept him far far away from his old friends... So when Saix told him that he was to go to Beast's Castle to have a little "chit chat" with Xaldin....Xigbar complained. "Cant you send anyone else? Anyone?" Saix just closed his eyes, smirked and said "Why Number II? not up to it?" "AS IF! that's not the issue, its just that this is a waste of resources. Send Kiddo or Mullet Head, theyre good at finding people." A sweatdrop on Saix's head. Xigbar raised his hands in the air with faked annoyance "You tried that already huh? "CRAP!" Saix just leaned against the wall and said "Xaldin is one of the Organization's top assets. A founding member, an expert in battle, intelligent, calculating, and an expert on corrupting hearts." "If you love him so much why dont you marry him Sailor Moon..." "What?" "Nothing, nothing." "He actually is worth more than yourself Xigbar." A twinge of something that was not quite a feeling but more like a memory of a feeling flashed through the hole in Xigbar's eye. Saix continued matter of factly "Let's consider your track record shall we? It was you who hired and vouched for Number XI, and look how well that turned out. You frequently break our rule about staying under the radar by participating in those boorish games at the Coliseum." The twinge was stronger now. Saix smirked devishly. "And I imagine the Superior would be quite displeased to discover that his trusted Number II had been spying on him." Xigbar looked at Saix and said sarcastically. "Are you threatening me with nothing Saix? That's adorable. I mean my existence is so important to me and everything. What with the fights I've seen." Saix scratched his chin in thought. "Do you mean to say that your death does not frighten you." Xigbar shrugged "As if. I Cant feel fear. Can you say the same? I've seen you too Moony, pining over that gigantic eyesore in the sky....asking it for when its your turn. You want it so bad...that your simulating feelings of need and fear of the unknown. Now me, Well...I'm always battling to the death with heartless or heroes...knowing that any day might be my last..." Xigbar got right in Saix's face "So if it were you against me, with me having nothing to lose and you having that fear of the void, you better ask yourself." Xigbar smiled creepily as his yellow eye flashed "Do you feel lucky punk?" Saix backed down a step. "Well? Do ya?" Saix was clenching his teeth ready to go berzerk. Xigbar just guffawed and lost his serious face. "Ha! Calm down Moonlight bay, just a joke. Ill go get Dreads, you just stay here and keep acting important." Xigbar put his palm up and summoned a dark corridor. Assuming his fight stance and summoning his weapon he started whistling. The sound faded away with the smoke and darkness. Leaving Saix alone to contemplate what had been said. Xigbar had not been fond of any of his fellow founding members. Zexion was a tool, he had tried to warn him that their cause was mad, but did the bookworm listen. HA! as if. Lexaeus had always been duller than a sack of bricks. Not much to talk about. Vexen was...well he was...Vexen. Xaldin was the worst of them though. When he was Dilan he had more complexes than Castle Oblivion, and becoming a nobody hadnt helped much. It was up to Xigbar to find out what kept drawing Xaldin to this world and drag him back if necessary. It didnt sound like fun and yet Xigbar wouldnt complain. The end of the corridor loomed showering Xigbar in light. He reloaded his arrowguns and said "Showtime." To Be Continued
