IT IS NOT THE LAST EPISODE, there is a contract for one more season. Then they will end it. It is obvious though becuase of the special that is coming up and also Cartoon Network has made it clear there is a 6th season in the contract. Then they will end it. The season will have 13 episodes and 3 specials one of which is coming on May Day.

The movie was awesome storyline was a bit wierd but after the 2nd time I saw it I got hold of it. The movie though was definatly about showing off what Square Enix can do using CG plus it showed off the White Engine.
There is no contest Neon Genises Evangelion Death and Rebirth and The end of Evangelion. No movie beats them....well with the expection of Miyazaki's Spirited Away.

Actually if you look at the Pirates of the Caribean series the did a good job on both movies...though the ending for 2 made me hate Disney a little bit more.

Awesome series, though it is the most disturbing anime ever created. I wish there were more anime episodes...well at least I can still read the manga.
Well if my info is right they are planning to release an Evangalion game right after the next movie and there is a definate chance it is heading for the US
