You know, you might have a point there. But what if when Ven asked to be erased, he became part of Sora. That might be why Sora wields the keyblade in the first place. And second it would explain that Roxas isn't a real nobody but is Ven who is released and happen to have no memories because those were erased as well.
So Donald and Goofy met Ven. Why didn't they recognise him on the foto received in KHII?
