In my opinion, the Wii is the leader of the console war thus far. The Xbox360 and PS3 are basically just upgraded versions of their predecessors, meaning they haven't technically expanded their target audience at all since the last generation. But the Wii is completely unique, and because of that it appeals not only to hardcore gamers with titles like Metroid 3 and Twilight Princess, but also targets an entirely new demographic that the other systems have neglected, people who don't generally play video games. My brother hated videogames (yeah, he's weird) but loves the Wii. Plus, the Wii has sold more than the other consoles almost every week since its launch. Don't get me wrong, I adore the PS3. It's so powerful and impressive. But the Wii will probably be the overall winner of this generation's console war, for the reasons I have stated above.
Marluxia thought he spotted someone in the distance, but couldn't be sure who it was - his figure was severely distorted by the haze that filled the air, and all he could make out was the form of an Organization coat, vague and wraithlike. As he got closer, he at last realised who it was. "Demyx!" he gasped breathlessly, as he saw his Organization teammate nursing a broken sitar.
Yeah, I agree. I bought a Wii today, it rocks! But anyways. I really think it's sad that SE have decided to exploit a Final Fantasy game for profit. What about when making an amazing game mattered more than money to them? And profit must be what's motivating them, because there's no other reason to make a game mulitplatform. *Sigh*. I'm actually really angry with SE right now.
I heard about that. It really sucks. Now there is pretty much zero point in me getting a PS3. And I'm shocked that SE would even consider making a major FF game multiplatform. I mean, what are they? EA??? And seeing as they did decide to make it multiplatform, they should have put it on the Wii, seeing as it's sold more than the Xbox and PS3 virtually every week since it was released. I didn't think the FF franchise would begin to die out so quickly. At least we still have KH, right?
Marluxia staggered to his feet, and gazed in disbelief at the heaps of charred rubble and broken gummi blocks scattered around what he now realised was a desert island. How did I get here?, he wondered. But he couldn't remember a thing about how he got here, or why. The blinding sunlight and glistening white sand did little to alleviate his throbbing headache.
Welcome to the site! Have fun, read the rules when you get the chance, and try to contribute as much as possible to the site.
I prefer how Older Sora looks, to be honest, plus he can drive.
Umm... I don't know...Maybe the glory of winning the cup? I'm not sure, I've never beaten the Hades Paradox Cup.
I agree. The spoken language is relatively easy, mainly because the grammar is so minimalist, compared to French or German. But the script... I really think that's difficult. As for German, it's not supposed to be terribly difficult. (According to my friends anyways). Yes, the grammar is complex, but it's very regular and structured.
As a native speaker, it's easy to think that. But not everyone speaks English, and it is well documented that it is a difficult language to learn for speakers of other languages. It is an extremely irregular language, especially in terms of pronunciation. For every 7 English words, 3 are not pronounced as they are spelled. Contrast that with a language like Italian, Spanish or German, where nearly every word is pronounced as spelled.
Oui, c'est vrai, et que c'est dificile aussi! Mais, comment est-ce que vous avez écrit les accents sur les voyelles? Back on topic: English is apparently one of the most difficult languages to learn. Incroyable, non?
...that you make a mental image of what someone looks like based on their avatar? At least, I do...
Pour moi, le japonais est tres dificile! Mais le francais...C'est assez facile pour moi, et je voudrais m'en perfectionner. C'est magnifique! ...Sorry about that. Yeah...randomly posting in French is a serious problem. On topic: Japanese is still the hardest language I've ever attempted to learn.
The only thing about French, Italian and Spanish that's tough are the verbs (IMO)... A lot of my friends just don't get them. Once you can figure them out, the rest is pretty easy.
Final Fantasy VIII... That game is single handedly responsible for my obsession with all things Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and most other SE games, my love of RPGs and gaming in general, and it's in a strange was part of the reason I'm on this forum right now.
It all depends on what's your native language. If you're an English speaker, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian etc will be very difficult, simply because they're all so different to English, and vice versa. The most difficult language I've ever studied is Japanese, mainly because the script is so complex and confusing. Italian is (I find) a pretty easy language to learn. Same with French, because it shares a lot of vocabulary with English. And Germanic languages (German, Dutch, Scandinavian languages) are supposed to be easier for English speakers to learn, because English is a Germanic language too.
Sorry, I meant to say Darkside. *facepalm*
I would actually go insane (probably) if it was released in N. America but not Europe.
Thanks! You're cool too :noworries: English is destroying our language too... A lot of Irish words are just English words pronounced slightly differently. Do you study Welsh at school?
Don't they have to rehire a lot of old voice actors too? Like for Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Axel, Namine etc? It's still really suspicious that SE haven't made any official confirmation of this project. And I don't understand why they would leave it so late to begin an English version of Re:CoM.
