She crouched and picked them up, then dumped them on the table by the couch. Judging on the unusual quiet engulfing the house, Leah guess no one was home yet. She allowed herself to fall onto the couch and just lay there. Waiting for the others to get home, Leah opened up her math book and began to read it mindlessly, instead of actually doing her math homework.
