Yes, that's the plan. It's 6.30 Eastern, and the server is holding well.. we might be pass the problems already. Couple more days, and we'll know for sure.
With respect to re-enabling the search feature.. I want to wait for 3 complete days of no problems. The three days wont matter too much, if it helps us solve these problems for good.
Will bring it back in the next couple of days.. need to remove all lag before it comes back. We're working on it.
Just wanted to make a comment that I'm working on solving the current sluggishness of the forums (entire server actually). It's a long and painful process.. and might take a couple more days. One thing I've done temporarily is disabled searching of the boards.. so if you get an error message while attempting to search for something, it's because that was done deliberately.
well, the error we got today was not related to the forum software being outdated.. it was a mistake made in the admin control panel.. which I've now explained to the staff.. hopefully, it will not reoccur.. I'll still be upgrading the forum, as that is always a good thing.
This one was quite complicated.. I became aware of it in the afternoon.. tried many things... one of my buddys came online, who was able to fix it. I'll be upgrading the forum software to the latest version of vbulletin sometime in the next couple of days, to ensure this stuff doesn't reoccur. On a side note. some of you regulars might want to take down my cell number and text message me, when you see stuff like this in the future.. the number is 647-225-2546

Hello everyone! I am spdude. The new owner of KH-Vids.net. So what exactly happened? deathspank has given up ownership privileges to the website, due to the large amount of work that comes from running a site such as this. Not to worry, deathspank will still be here, checking in and helping out when he can, he has not forgotten his lovely creation! This would be a good time to thank deathspank for all he has done. I know, I know, this is a whole lot at once. No worries. There will be no major or inconsequential changes. (This includes site policy, staff, etc). And a little about myself? I've owned countless websites throughout the years, it's become almost a hobby of sorts! I have a lot of experience with websites and I can't wait to take this site to the next level! It is so nice being part of such an excellent, fun, and tight knit community. It's always tough being the new guy; I hope my welcome isn't too bad!
