Hey. Let me give you an example.

I love McDonalds. I... ****ing love it. So good. But I only eat there like once or twice every three months since my parents say they "don't have any money".

So I don't eat McDonalds for a while, eat my mom's good food - oh yes pancit canton, adobo, dumplings, fried chicken, New York sandwiches, aroscaldo, longanesa, crabs, some kinds of soup, etc. asian food. And McDonalds is gone. I don't think about it at all. No appetite whatsoever for anything off its kitchens.

I come along (with mom or dad, since I have no car) for a drive to the library. I ride back home. McDonalds is by the street home. For an instant a thought, as if by instinct, shoots through my mind. I WANT SOME CHIKAN SELECTS. GARR. WITH COKE. AND BARBECUE SAUCE. AND FRENCH FRIES. Then I come back from that daydream of being in the McDonalds restaurant and note how it's past the intersection to the street to my house. I remember how my parents don't really have much money. I remember how people(television, reports, doctors, that one movie with the guy who eats McDonalds for a long time) say that fast food is unhealthy. And I stay quiet, gently taking away that thought, not asking mom or dad "Can we go to McDonalds?"

So who's at fault here? I believe it's the fault, or effect, of your influences. Those that you talk with/to, shows you watch, games you play, people who take care of you(or the opposite). Your mom or guardian(or you. You lazy bum. Go ask your mom how to cook already) could've made some delicious [insert good food] for the family, instead of taken you to the fast food restaurant.

Now that's not to say they are the sole causes. The taste of the food might've been made so good, it's irresistable. It's partly the industrys' fault for creating goods like that. With good intentions skewered by greed and the possibility of profit, it's difficult to see any good in them. But it's better to offer suggestions or resist than go all angry mob. They might one day make right and offer the real food of the old days.

I say the industry, by the way. They could've just not been there. :v No really fat people in wherever there's no fast food restaurant. Since there's only one you can pick. But I believe it's both. One can resist, but the industry could've also made healthier tasty food.

:v Still dead. All right if I inspire help a bit?

It's a bit better, but still open-ended. I have a feeling in the end this would turn out to be all over the place. It seems simple enough, getting you right on the bat, but it's like procrastinating, e.g. doing something you're really into. A simple thing like someone walking on the street won't really get you to join. A complex thing like a Marines Gunnery Sergeant scuttling down a street carrying an ak-47, waving over a couple of four to seven year-old kids, however, would - not necessarily to join, but more like stop what you're doing and go, "Huh?". It's the year 2033. The world is more cultured, the government should've developed. New technologies should've shown up. New trends, a better organized and advanced military.

Did the new CIA/Military/FBI fail? How?
What kind of person? An expert at military strategies and technologies? A professor? An old army veteran recovered from insanity just last year from a mental hospital? What do the other countries(and their leaders) think?

    *sigh* :l

I have two younger sisters and an older sister. My older sis tends to be away at her friends' and steal the computer from us at times. My parents get mad at her often. I say younger. Because I don't want younger siblings to have a bad influence from their older sibling. And because it's annoying how older siblings have this "shield" of authority that prevents the younger from hitting him/her, when the older one is doing something annoying - like stealing the internets.

Been away for quite a while. Been to other places and such. I think Rosey, CtR or Dark Android will know what I'm talking about. I have difficulty with getting just the right flow on my posts so that the reader won't be looking into a cube of hard black rock, narrowing their eyes and in a few seconds walking away to look at a flowing stream of water. So. Tips on the changes possible. Also anything else you see wrong or could be improved.

I joined an original rp involving the causal gods(good and evil, with neutral added in to balance the opposites - Hope, Love, Friendship, Resolution, Cure, Emotion | Wrath, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Pride, Gluttony | Death, Life, Plague, Conflict, War, Mind, and Judgement). The Good and Evil gods had, over time, grown a disagreement with each other, so Judgement - a neutral god, and the authority of them all - decided to take away their memories and powers through Mind - also a neutral god - and place them on Earth in human form. By circumstances relating to their natural powers, each god would regain his or her memories and powers back. Each Good and Evil god would have to learn to get along in order to get back to their full selves. In the meantime, the neutral gods - with all their abilities untouched - chose a god or gods to look over in case anything happened to go wrong. I played War. Here's my first post in the rp, where I took the body of a human to serve as my disguise and form on Earth:

    By the way, I don't see many meaningful critiques on here. It's more like a grounds for samples. Where's the workshop aspect of this? WHERE'RE THE BABIES?! ;~;

Oh I get it. In the original article the shirbit(british) believe that the body is prone to being dirty so they indulge in hygienic rituals. The "shrine" 'devoted to the body' in every household is the bathroom, what is done in there is not spoken of, the adults never discuss with the children the rituals performed; only enough to teach them how to wash themselves, etc. , "focal point of
the shrine is is a box built into a wall in which are kept charms and magical
potions for the face and body" pertains to the bathtub or shower with the charms and potions being soap, shampoo and conditioner and other bathroom supplies, "These are obtained from the medicine men who
write down the ingredients in an ancient and secret language which is only
understood by the herbalist who prepare the potion. These potions are kept in
the charm-box for many years" means the hygiene supplies are obtained from pharmacies or other shops and the ingredients are the chemicals in the stuff and components, I don't know about the following passage up to "The shirbit have an almost pathological horror of and fascination with the
mouth, the condition of which is believed to have a supernatural influence on
all social relationships." which is talking about their fascination with toothbrushing, and finally, "Finally, men and women indulge in barbaric acts of
self mutilation. Men engage in a daily body ritual of scraping and lacerating
their faces with a sharp instrument, whilst women bake their heads in a small
oven once a month." means they shave and the women put their heads in hair dryers for putting your head in.

Shirbit, shirbit hmmm.....where have I heard that before? Oh. The shirbit in Dark Cloud 2. They live in the forests and don't like humans. Similar to dwarves. I don't know what to say to this dough. It is reminiscent of European folktale and fairytale creatures.
