To begin with, I have absolutely no tangible evidence to base my claims off of. But, with the music festival's extended version of the Olympus demo surfacing, I thought this might be worth sharing.

I work at a restaurant with a dude who has a "My other ride is a chocobo" bumpersticker. His exgirlfriend happens to be a seasoned manager at Gamestop. I've only read text messages, but they seemed legit. So, I'm going to share the little information that I learned. Basically, Gamestop managers nationwide had a meeting where they were given tons of codes to download upcoming games, so that they could better be able to pass information down to their subordinates about games. The reason I bring this up, is because they were able to play Kingdom Hearts III. And it infuriates me. Not because they got to play the normal demo(s) normal people haven't been able to, but because they got to play a demo that allowed them to experience the Pirates of the Caribbean world. So, why am I bringing this up? Nomura said that the last demo was the final one, then we get the extended version with the new area in Olympus. I'm just the regretful messenger that there's ANOTHER demo that features Pirates the general public has not been exposed to. So, get ready for more, guys.

There is a place where the sidewalk ends
    And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.

Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.

Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends- Shel Silverstein

Since no one would post in the literature section, I decided to post it here.

Can anyone have an intelligent discussion with me on your thoughts about this poem?
I'm thinking it's written for any and every body to relate to it in their own life, because it seems very universal. I've read this poem before in school, which is very idiotic because I was far too young to appreciate it.
My thoughts about the poem though, I feel as if it describes a relationship (yes, a lover relationship) that's about to end. The poem is definitely metaphoric. And the children may represent younger memories of when Shel was a teenager? It's an amazing poem to look in to. What I mean by young memories is the mistakes she made as a teenager in love, and because of her growth from them she knows that the relationship is coming to a close.
    Anyone else have thoughts?

Was it ever explained why (in Birth By Sleep), when they take out their keyblades it looks all data-ish? And same thing with Roxas in Data Twilight Town- though I'm pretty certain it was like that in Data Twilight Town because it was pretty much all data.

It's probably nothing but when Sora fights Xemnas using both his keyblade and Way to Dawn, he holds Way to Dawn how Ven holds his keyblade.

Oh! And Ven held Way to Dawn in the Secret Ending of Kingdom Hearts II. Like I said, probably means nothing.

A nobody is a person/body/shell without a heart right? So wouldn't that make Kairi a nobody since she didn't have a heart (Sora had it after Destiny Islands) but she still had her body? That is, until Hollow Bastion.

This paragraph is a joke: I think that Ven is Sora's older brother! And since Sora loves his older brother with all his heart, (even though nobody in the whole Kingdom Hearts series said anything about Sora even having an older brother or saying anything about Ven period), so that when he LOST his heart, his heart had a mind of its own and thought about his beloved brother Ven...

This is my real theory: Sora's heart wasn't even in Sora's body at the time of him becoming a heartless because the heart leaves the person's shell (body) when they turn into a heartless, thus it leaves behind the person's mind, or brain, along with the body, and that's how a nobody is made, because of the body, and that's why Organization XIII can think, but don't have hearts, and Roxas is part of the organization, so he wouldn't have a heart, because the heart went back to Sora, unless since Roxas is a special nobody, who is said by many to have a heart, maybe the heart that Roxas has is actually Ven's, and that would also explain why Roxas looks like Ven, because Sora took his body back when he got his heart back (I guess that's how you would say it), and that would also explain why Roxas doesn't act cheerful like Sora all the time, and a more depressed and I'm going to kick your ass mood, which is obvious to see that Ven has that personality, just watch the Birth By Sleep Secret Ending, Ven is aggressive, he tried to take on Master Xehanort alone since one of Terra's arms were frozen, and why he fought Master Xehanort's apprentice, again alone, and Mickey had to save his ass, and in another screen shot you can see Terra holding Ven in that gorge in Radiant Garden and MAYBE why Terra looks pissed off is because his friend(Ven) was hurt since Ven took on whoever he was fighting ,again, alone, or I could be wrong on that one, but still you can see Ven likes to be stubborn when it comes to fights, and so is Roxas. Roxas never called for back up when he fought Riku, even though I doubt he could, he was always ready to fight Axel, and he fought Sora at TWTNW by his choice, and Roxas was depressed in Twilight Town 99% of the time, unless he was fighting Axel, then he was mad, which seems to be the same case for Ven whenever he fights.

Even though I'm pretty sure that theory is wrong, it seems way more logical in my opinion than Ven being Sora's older brother and some how that's why Roxas looks like Ven. This was just a quick theory, so don't bash please.

    Emo

Okay first off, I'm not really sure if this is the right section for this considering what I'm trying to make the topic of this thread about, because I guess it's not really a topic that's "intelligent", but more informal. I couldn't decide on what section to post it in: debate, spam zone, general discussion, and so on. So anyway, I might as well just start the thread, despite of what section it belongs in.

Okay, I have to honestly admit that I have been called emo before (I still am now by some people), but in real life, not on the internet. I have been called emo because of my appearance, and sort of how I act. In my (middle)school, we have a uniform; it consist of: White collar shirt, Navy collar shirt (I think), school t-shirt (Blue or Grey), Navy pants/shorts (cannot have too baggy), or khaki pants/shorts, and you have to wear a belt with shirt tucked in. On Fridays you can wear jeans, and I wear my black jeans, or my tight REALLY dark blue jeans. I listen to Screamo, which is apparently the same thing as emo to ignorant people (which is what this topic is about, but I’ll bring that back up later). Also, the fact that I have long hair and I always have my bangs covering my face doesn’t really help my appearance as “emoâ€, but get this: I have long, beautiful blonde hair (as described by tons of girls in my school), and even though I have thoughts about dying my hair black, I don’t want to do that until my hair turns brown (which happens most of the time if your hair is blonde, and from brown it turns white, if you live that long…), so I can keep my “beautiful†long blonde hair, well beautiful. So anyway, I’m trying to say is that I dress more like someone hard-core would dress, other than an “emo†kid would dress. I don’t wear a belt, and I would never wear a studded belt, because I honestly think that they look gay, unless a guy in a band is wearing one. I have never cut myself, but I have thought of suicide (but can anyone honestly say they haven’t?). Now that I have explained that I don’t dress like an “emo†person would dress, I must explain how I act. I’m an out-going kind of guy, but only with my friends, though I’m not that out-going when it comes to girls (obviously I’m not that confident about being around girls that aren’t my friends). Whenever I’m depressed, I don’t hide it from the world, nor from my friends, so I’m pretty much quiet all the time when I’m depressed. I’m funny (not trying to brag), and when I’m hyper everyone around me (that’s my friend) has a great time, I have a lot of friends, but I don’t really hang out with them because at recess they are playing football or basketball (which I’m not totally confident about playing since I can’t catch worth ****, but I can run fast as hell), so I want to know, why would anyone call me “emoâ€? I mean, I usually dress in all black, but should I be judged for wearing black? Then again, I might be over-reacting, because usually my friends call me “emo†but they are joking around, but sometimes I’m called “emo†not by my friends, when I’m being made fun of. So in reality, I’m the totally opposite of what would be described as “emo†in terms of how I act, and I barley dress like how you would think an “emo†person would dress as, aside from my wardrobe being almost completely black.

Now I want to explain what “emo†is. “Emoâ€, apparently, is described as someone who wears eye-shadow, dresses in all black, has black hair, and dresses in all black. Emo is really a music genre that started in the 80s-90s. There were bands who’s lyrics seemed like they really came from the heart, or described depression, and so the fans made up a genre to describe them as, which we all know as emo, short for emotional. Now pussies who cut themselves, and talk about how depressed they are (yet they have so many friends), call themselves emo. So now people think that emo is a style, even though it is really a music genre, and label people who are depressed and wear black clothes all the time as emo. What really pisses me off is that some kids that are labeled as emo, actually call themselves emo. It doesn’t make sense to me, you wouldn’t call yourself rock just because you are rich and in a famous band, would you? There are scene kids (who should be described as emo if you would call anyone emo), and gothic people aren’t anything like scene kids. So really, what kind of ****** would either call themselves a music genre, or call somebody else a music genre? Also, Screamo isn’t anything like Emo music. Emo music is usually lyrics about how the person’s life sucks, and how they can’t go on, while Screamo is usually about things that other people would care about, and some Screamo bands make you feel better (like blessthefall, whenever I listen to them it always makes me happy), and tons of Screamo bands are actually Christian, so they are giving out a positive message, while Emo music is giving out a negative message that makes you want to kill yourself. I also hate it when people call Screamo crap because they can’t understand what they are singing when they scream, I mean really, it takes a long time to be able to scream, and the band members are AMAZING at their instruments…the bass players shake your car if you listen to the music at like volume 8, the drummers play the double-bass drums which take a lot of practice to be good at, and the guitars are phenomenal, and they singers have the best voices when they sing normally, and the lyrics are meaningful. While emo music sucks, and the lyrics are horrible, because they are normally all about depression and how much the people hurt inside.

Well, that’s pretty much all I have to say about emo, and how I’m totally NOT emo.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+. I remember hiding it in a place so good, so that it wouldn't get screwed up, because I was playing my Xbox360, and so I stopped playing the PS2 (that's the reason why I hide the game, since I wasn't playing it at the moment, I wouldn't want it to get messed up), but that was like three months ago...and now my Xbox360 has the three rings of death, so I have to send it in to get fixed, and so I thought since I couldn't play the Xbox360 anymore, why not play Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ again right? Well now I can't find it...
